3.1 Control Panel (Refer to Figure 3.2)
- Power Switch: Turns the speaker on or off.
- Volume Control: Adjusts the master volume level.
- Mode Button: Switches between Bluetooth, USB, and AUX input modes.
- Play/Pause Button: Controls playback in Bluetooth and USB modes.
- Previous/Next Track Buttons: Navigates between tracks in Bluetooth and USB modes.
- USB Port: For connecting USB flash drives to play audio files.
- AUX Input: 3.5mm jack for connecting external audio devices via an auxiliary cable.
- Charging Port: Connect the power cable for charging and continuous operation.
4. Setup
4.1 Initial Power Connection
- Connect the provided power cable to the speaker's charging port.
- Plug the other end of the power cable into a suitable electrical outlet.
- The speaker can operate while connected to power or on its internal battery (average 5 hours of use).
4.2 Speaker Placement
Place the speaker on a stable, flat surface. For optimal sound quality, position it in an open area, away from walls or corners that might obstruct sound dispersion.
5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Locate the Power Switch on the control panel (refer to Figure 3.2). Flip the switch to the 'ON' position to power on the speaker. Flip it to 'OFF' to power off.
5.2 Bluetooth Mode
- Power on the speaker. The speaker will automatically enter Bluetooth pairing mode, indicated by an audible prompt or flashing LED.
- On your Bluetooth-enabled device (e.g., smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to the Bluetooth settings and enable Bluetooth.
- Search for available devices. You should see 'BST12' in the list.
- Select 'BST12' to pair. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound.
- You can now play audio from your device through the BST12 speaker.
5.3 USB Mode
- Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB Port on the control panel.
- Press the 'Mode' button on the speaker or remote control until 'USB' mode is selected.
- The speaker will automatically begin playing the audio files from the USB drive.
- Use the Play/Pause and Previous/Next Track buttons to control playback.
5.4 AUX Mode
- Connect one end of a 3.5mm auxiliary audio cable (not included) to the AUX Input port on the speaker.
- Connect the other end of the auxiliary cable to the headphone jack or audio output of your external device (e.g., MP3 player, TV, computer).
- Press the 'Mode' button on the speaker or remote control until 'AUX' mode is selected.
- Play audio from your external device. The speaker will output the sound.
5.5 Remote Control Functions
The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Functions typically include:
- Power On/Off
- Mode Selection (Bluetooth, USB, AUX)
- Volume Up/Down
- Play/Pause
- Previous/Next Track
- Mute
6. Maintenance
6.1 Cleaning
Always unplug the speaker before cleaning.
