Safety Information

Please read and understand all safety warnings before operating the compressor. Failure to follow these instructions may result in electric shock, fire, serious injury, or property damage.

  • Do Not Modify: Do not modify the product arbitrarily. Disassembling or repairing the unit by non-technical personnel is strictly prohibited and will void the warranty.
  • Electrical Safety: Ensure the electrical socket used can withstand a current greater than 10A. Using an inadequate socket may lead to circuit burnout, product damage, and potential hazards due to overload.
  • High Temperature Warning: Do not touch the compressor head section immediately after use. The components can reach high temperatures and cause burns. Allow sufficient time for the unit to cool down.
  • Supervision Required: Do not leave the compressor unattended during operation. Unsupervised operation can lead to product damage from increasingly rising pressure, sustained motor overload, or even halting if the operating pressure is reached but the unit is not turned off timely.

Setup

  1. Unpacking: Carefully remove the compressor from its packaging. Inspect for any visible damage during transit.
  2. Placement: Place the compressor on a stable, level, and dry surface. Ensure adequate ventilation around the unit to prevent overheating. Do not operate in enclosed spaces.
  3. Oil Level Check: Before first use, and regularly thereafter, check the machine oil level. Ensure the oil level is above the upper edge of the red point on the sight glass. Refer to the Maintenance section for details on oil type and changing.
  4. Electrical Connection: Connect the power cord to a grounded 110V outlet that meets the current requirements (greater than 10A).
  5. Hose Connection: Connect the high-pressure hose to the appropriate outlet on the compressor and to your device (e.g., air rifle, diving tank). Ensure all connections are secure and leak-free.

Operating Instructions

  1. Preparation: Ensure all connections are secure and the oil level is correct. Verify the pressure setting if your model includes this feature.
  2. Power On: Flip the power switch to the "ON" position. The compressor will begin to operate.
  3. Monitoring Pressure: Continuously monitor the pressure gauge. Do not exceed the maximum rated pressure of your connected device or the compressor itself (30MPA).
  4. Automatic Shut-off (if applicable): If your model has a set pressure feature, the unit may automatically shut off once the desired pressure is reached. If not, manually turn off the unit.
  5. Manual Shut-off: Once the desired pressure is achieved, or if any abnormal operation is observed, immediately flip the power switch to the "OFF" position.
  6. Bleeding Air: After turning off, slowly open the bleed valve to release any remaining pressure in the hose and compressor system before disconnecting.
  7. Cool Down: Allow the compressor to cool down completely before moving or storing it.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance is crucial for the longevity and safe operation of your TECHTONGDA air compressor.

  • Oil Level Check: The machine oil level should be checked regularly, ideally before each use. Ensure the oil level is always above the upper edge of the red point on the oil sight glass.
  • Oil Change: If the color of the machine oil becomes dark and black, it indicates contamination and should be changed immediately. Consult a qualified technician or the manufacturer for recommended oil type and changing procedure.
  • Cleaning: Keep the compressor clean and free from dust and debris. Periodically wipe down the exterior with a damp cloth. Ensure the cooling fan (located at the rear) is clear of obstructions.
  • Air Filter: Check and clean or replace the air filter as needed to ensure optimal performance and prevent contaminants from entering the compressor.
