3. Setup

3.1 Initial Charging

Before first use, fully charge the headset.

1. Connect the small end of the supplied USB charging cable to the charging port on the headset.
2. Connect the other end of the USB cable to a powered USB port (e.g., computer, USB wall adapter).
3. The indicator light on the headset will show charging status (e.g., red for charging, blue/off for fully charged).

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

• To Power On: Press and hold the Multi-function button until the indicator light flashes blue.
• To Power Off: Press and hold the Multi-function button until the indicator light flashes red and then turns off.

4.2 Pairing with Bluetooth Devices

The headset can be paired with mobile phones, tablets, and other Bluetooth-enabled devices.

1. Ensure the headset is powered off.
2. Press and hold the Multi-function button for approximately 5-7 seconds until the indicator light flashes blue and red alternately. This indicates the headset is in pairing mode.
3. On your Bluetooth device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
4. Select "PHILIPS SHB1603/10" from the list of found devices.
5. If prompted for a password, enter "0000".
6. Once paired, the indicator light on the headset will flash blue periodically.

4.3 Dual Device Pairing
