2. Safety Instructions

3. Slowly pour the recommended engine oil (refer to engine manual for type and quantity, typically SAE 30 or 10W-30) into the oil fill opening until it reaches the "FULL" mark on the dipstick. Do not overfill.
4. Replace the oil fill cap/dipstick.
5. Fill the fuel tank with fresh, unleaded gasoline (minimum 87 octane). Do not use E85 or E15 fuel. Do not overfill.
6. Securely replace the fuel cap.

5. Operation

Follow these steps for safe and effective operation of your lawn mower.

5.1 Starting the Engine (Electric Start)

1. Ensure the spark plug wire is securely connected.
2. Press the primer bulb (if equipped) 3-5 times, or as recommended by the engine manufacturer.
3. Hold the engine brake lever (bail bar) against the handle. This lever must be held for the engine to start and run.
4. Press the electric start button. The engine should start within a few seconds. Release the button once the engine starts.
5. If the engine does not start, wait a few seconds and try again.

5.2 Adjusting Cutting Height

2. Lift the rear discharge flap.
3. Grasp the grass bag handle and lift the bag off the mower.
4. Empty the clippings into a compost pile or suitable receptacle.
5. Reattach the grass bag securely.

5.5 Stopping the Engine

To stop the engine, simply release the engine brake lever (bail bar). The engine will shut off automatically.
