3. Setup

3.1 Unpacking

Carefully remove the appliance and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport if needed. Inspect the unit for any signs of damage.

3.2 Filling the Water Tank and Using Cold Packs

1. Pull out the water tank from the bottom rear of the unit.
2. Fill the tank with clean tap water. Do not exceed the "MAX" fill line.
3. For enhanced cooling, place the two included cold packs in a freezer until completely frozen.
4. Once frozen, place the cold packs directly into the water tank.
5. Carefully slide the water tank back into the unit until it clicks into place.

Place the air cooler on a firm, level surface. Ensure there is sufficient space around the unit (at least 20 cm) for proper air circulation. The integrated wheels allow for easy movement between rooms.

4. Operating Instructions

4.1 Power On/Off

Plug the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet (220-240V~, 50Hz). Press the Power button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.

4.2 Control Panel and Display

The intuitive touch control panel is located on the top of the unit. The display shows current settings such as speed, mode, and timer.

The included remote control allows for convenient operation from a distance. Ensure the remote control is pointed towards the unit's receiver.

The Klarstein Skytower Smart Air Cooler features an integrated WLAN function for control via the Klarstein app on your smartphone. This requires a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

1. Download the "Klarstein" app from your smartphone's app store (available on App Store and Google Play).
2. Create an account and log in.
3. Follow the in-app instructions to connect your air cooler to your home Wi-Fi network.
4. Once connected, you can control all functions of the air cooler directly from your smartphone.

4.5 Function Settings

• Speed Adjustment: Press the Speed button to cycle through Low, Medium, and High fan speeds.
• Operating Modes: Press the Mode button to select between:
  • Normal Mode: Constant fan speed.
  • Nature Mode: Fan speed varies to simulate natural wind.
  • Sleep Mode: Similar to Nature mode, with gradual speed reduction for quiet operation during sleep.
• Oscillation: Press the Oscillation button to activate or deactivate the horizontal oscillation feature, which distributes air across a wider area.
• Timer: Press the Timer button to set the automatic shutdown time, adjustable up to 9 hours in 1-hour increments.
• Ionizer: Press the Ionizer button to activate or deactivate the integrated ionizer, which helps purify the air by removing dust and dirt particles.

5. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your Klarstein Skytower Air Cooler.

5.1 Cleaning the Exterior

• Always unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Wipe the exterior surfaces with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
• Ensure no water enters the internal components.

5.2 Water Tank Maintenance

• Empty and clean the water tank regularly (at least once a week, or more frequently with heavy use) to prevent mold and bacteria growth.
• Remove the water tank, rinse it with clean water, and wipe it dry.

5.3 Humidifier Pad Drying Function
