3. Setup
3.1 Battery Installation
The QS20 camera requires 8 AA batteries (not included). For best performance, use high-quality alkaline or lithium batteries.
- Open the camera latch on the side to access the internal compartment.
- Locate the battery compartment.
- Insert 8 AA batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+/-) as indicated inside the compartment.
- Close the battery compartment cover securely.
3.2 SD Card Installation
The camera supports SD memory cards up to 32GB. A Class 10 SD card is recommended for optimal video recording performance.
- With the camera open, locate the SD card slot.
- Insert the SD card into the slot with the label facing up until it clicks into place.
- To remove, press the SD card gently until it pops out.

3.3 Mounting the Camera

4.1 Powering On/Off
To power on the camera, slide the power switch to the ON position. To power off, slide the switch to the OFF position.
4.2 Quick Set (QSET) Mode
The QS20 features pre-programmed Quick Set options for easy setup. These settings are designed for common scenarios.
- Open the camera and locate the Quick Set switch.
- Select one of the available Quick Set options (refer to the camera's internal labels or packaging for specific QSET profiles).
- Close the camera door. The camera will arm itself after a short countdown.
