Maintenance and Care
- Cleaning: Wipe the watch case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
- Water Resistance: This watch is rated for 30 meters (3 ATM) water resistance. This means it is suitable for everyday use and can withstand splashes or brief immersion in water. It is not suitable for swimming, diving, or showering with hot water, as steam can penetrate the seals. Avoid pressing buttons underwater.
- Battery Replacement: When the display becomes dim or functions become erratic, the battery may need replacement. Battery replacement should ideally be performed by a qualified watch technician to ensure water resistance is maintained.
- Storage: Store the watch in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
Troubleshooting
- Display is blank or dim: The battery may be low or depleted. Replace the battery.
- Time is incorrect: Re-set the time and date following the "Setting Time and Date" instructions. Ensure the correct AM/PM (if 12-hour format) is set.
- Buttons are unresponsive: Try pressing the buttons firmly. If still unresponsive, the battery may be too low, or there might be an internal issue requiring professional service.
- Watch fogging up: This indicates moisture ingress. Stop using the watch immediately and seek professional repair to prevent further damage.
