1. Important Safety Instructions
Read and understand all safety instructions before operating this air compressor. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious injury or property damage.
- High Pressure Hazard: This compressor generates extremely high pressure. Never point the filling hose at yourself or others. Ensure all connections are secure before operation.
- Electrical Safety: Connect the compressor only to a properly grounded 220V 50Hz power outlet. Do not operate with damaged cords or plugs. Keep the compressor away from water to prevent electric shock.
- Water Cooling Required: The compressor requires an external water cooling system to prevent overheating. Always ensure the water pump is submerged and circulating water during operation. Monitor the temperature gauge.
- Temperature Monitoring: Do not allow the compressor's temperature to exceed 85°C. If the temperature rises too high, stop the compressor immediately and allow it to cool down.
- Ventilation: Operate the compressor in a well-ventilated area to prevent heat buildup.
- Oil Type: Use only IS0 VG 46 or AW 46 compressor oil. Check the oil level before each use.
- Children and Pets: Keep children and pets away from the compressor during operation.
- Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance as described in this manual to ensure safe and efficient operation.

3. Setup
3.1 Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your compressor, carefully unpack all components and inspect for any shipping damage. Ensure all parts listed in the packing list are present.

Figure 2: Overview of the TUXING TXES022 compressor and its included accessories, such as power cord, water pump, hoses, and spare parts.
3.2 Water Cooling System Connection
The compressor requires an external water source for cooling. Prepare a bucket of water (approximately 10-15 liters) and connect the provided water pump and hoses as follows:
- Connect the inlet hose from the compressor to the water pump.
- Connect the outlet hose from the compressor to return water to the bucket.
- Place the water pump completely submerged in the bucket of water.
- Ensure water can circulate freely through the system.

Figure 3: The compressor features both fan and water cooling systems for efficient heat dissipation, maintaining an optimal working temperature range of 50-85°C.
3.3 Oil Level Check
Before first use and periodically thereafter, check the oil level. The oil level should be visible within the designated range on the oil level indicator. If low, add IS0 VG 46 or AW 46 compressor oil.
3.4 Air Hose Connection
Connect the 8mm quick-connect filling hose to the compressor's output port. Ensure the connection is tight and secure to prevent air leaks during operation.

Figure 4: The integrated oil-water separator ensures clean air output by filtering impurities, crucial for sensitive applications.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Pre-Operation Checklist
- Ensure the compressor is on a stable, level surface in a well-ventilated area.
- Verify the water cooling system is correctly set up and the pump is submerged.
- Check the oil level.
- Confirm the filling hose is securely connected to both the compressor and the item to be filled.
- Ensure the manual bleed knob is closed.
4.2 Starting the Compressor
- Plug the compressor into a grounded 220V 50Hz power outlet.
- Turn on the power switch. The compressor will begin to operate.
4.3 Adjusting Pressure and Auto-Stop
The compressor features an adjustable pressure gauge and an automatic stop function:
- Set the desired pressure on the adjustable pressure gauge.
- The compressor will automatically stop once the set pressure is reached.
- Always monitor the pressure gauge during operation to ensure it does not exceed the maximum safe working pressure of the item being filled.

Figure 5: The compressor's high-pressure performance (4500 PSI) and auto-stop feature, which turns off the machine when the required pressure is reached. Also shows the power switch and release valve.
4.4 Monitoring Temperature
Continuously monitor the temperature gauge during operation. If the temperature approaches or exceeds 85°C, immediately turn off the compressor and allow it to cool down before resuming operation. Ensure the water cooling system is functioning correctly.
4.5 Shutting Down
- Once the desired pressure is reached and the compressor has stopped (or if you need to stop it manually), turn off the power switch.
- Slowly open the manual bleed knob to release any residual pressure in the system.
- Disconnect the filling hose from the item.
- Turn off and remove the water pump from the bucket.
5. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and safe operation of your TUXING TXES022 compressor.
5.1 Regular Cleaning
- Wipe down the exterior of the compressor with a clean, dry cloth after each use.
- Keep the cooling fins and fan clear of dust and debris to ensure efficient cooling.
5.2 Oil Replacement
The compressor oil should be replaced after the first 10 hours of operation, and then every 50 hours or every 3 months, whichever comes first. Refer to the oil level indicator and use only IS0 VG 46 or AW 46 compressor oil.
5.3 Filter Maintenance
Regularly check and clean or replace the air filter and the oil-water separator filter element to ensure clean air output and prevent damage to the compressor.
5.4 Storage
When not in use, store the compressor in a dry, clean, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. Ensure all pressure is released from the system before storage.
6. Troubleshooting
This section addresses common issues you might encounter with your compressor.
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
