3. Setup Guide
3.1. Assembly
- Secure the C-Clamp to your desk or table. Ensure the desk thickness is up to 2 inches for a secure fit.
- Insert the adjustable scissor boom arm into the C-Clamp and tighten it.
- Attach the shock mount to the boom arm. Ensure the 'THIS SIDE UP' label on the shock mount is facing upwards.
- Carefully place the FIFINE T683 microphone into the shock mount.
- Attach the pop filter to the microphone. The pop filter is designed to fit snugly around the microphone head.

3.2. Connection (Plug & Play)
The FIFINE T683 is a plug-and-play USB microphone, requiring no additional drivers for most operating systems (Mac, PS4, Windows PC/Laptop).
- Connect the USB-B end of the provided cable to the bottom of the microphone.
- Connect the USB-A or USB-C end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer (PC, Mac) or PS4. The cable is 6.6ft long, providing ample reach.
- The microphone's LED indicator will turn green, signifying it is powered on and ready for use.

3.3. Initial Configuration
Once connected, your computer should automatically recognize the microphone. You may need to select "FIFINE K683 Microphone" as your input device in your system's sound settings or recording software.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1. Gain Control
The microphone features a gain control knob on the front. Rotate the knob clockwise to increase microphone sensitivity (gain) and counter-clockwise to decrease it. Adjust the gain to achieve optimal audio levels without distortion.
4.2. Mute Function
Press the mute button located below the gain knob to instantly mute or unmute the microphone. The LED indicator will change from green (active) to red (muted) to show the microphone's status.

4.3. Real-time Monitoring
Plug your 3.5mm headphones into the headphone jack on the back of the microphone. This allows for real-time, latency-free monitoring of your voice mixed with computer audio, ensuring your streams and recordings sound as intended.

4.4. Sound Quality

5. Care and Maintenance

6. Troubleshooting
- No Sound Output: Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the microphone and your computer/PS4. Verify that the microphone is selected as the input device in your system's sound settings or recording software. Check that the mute button is not activated (LED should be green).
- Distorted Audio: Reduce the microphone gain. Ensure you are not speaking too close to the microphone. Check for any background noise sources.
- Microphone Not Recognized: Try plugging the microphone into a different USB port. Restart your computer/PS4.
- Boom Arm Instability: Ensure the C-Clamp is tightly secured to the desk. Adjust the tension of the boom arm joints if necessary.
