DEERC Lithium-Ion Battery for RC Car

4. Setup

4.1 Charging the RC Car Battery

  1. Connect the Lithium-Ion battery to the USB charging cable.
  2. Plug the USB charging cable into a USB power adapter (e.g., computer USB port, phone charger, power bank).
  3. The indicator light on the USB cable will show the charging status (e.g., red for charging, off or green for fully charged).
  4. Charging time typically takes 2-3 hours. Do not overcharge the battery.
  5. Always disconnect the battery from the charger once fully charged.

4.2 Installing Batteries in the RC Car

  1. Locate the battery compartment on the underside of the RC car.
  2. Open the battery compartment cover.
  3. Carefully insert a fully charged Lithium-Ion battery into the compartment.
  4. Connect the battery connector to the car's power port. Ensure the connection is secure.
  5. Close the battery compartment cover.

4.3 Installing Batteries in the Remote Control

The remote control typically requires 2 or 3 AA/AAA batteries (not included). Refer to the remote control's battery compartment for specific requirements.

  1. Open the battery cover on the back of the remote control.
  2. Insert the required AA/AAA batteries, observing the correct polarity (+/-).
  3. Close the battery cover securely.

4.4 Pairing the RC Car and Remote Control

  1. Ensure both the RC car and the remote control are turned off.
  2. Place the RC car on a flat surface.
  3. Turn on the RC car. The indicator light on the car may flash.
  4. Turn on the remote control.
  5. The remote control and car should automatically pair. The indicator light on the car will become solid once paired.
  6. If pairing fails, turn off both devices and repeat the steps.
