4. Installation
This door knob is designed for easy installation. A long No.2 Phillips screwdriver is typically the only tool required.
Important Pre-Installation Steps:
- Remove Preinstalled Screws: The machine screws come preinstalled in the handle. Remove them before starting the installation process.
- Keyhole Orientation: During installation, ensure the keyhole on the exterior knob is oriented correctly (key in the 'as shown' position) to prevent the key from getting stuck.
- Lock Tailpiece Alignment: Make sure the lock tailpiece and the thumb-turn knob are at the same level. Insert the lock tailpiece into the slot behind the thumb-turn knob.

5. Operation

- From the Exterior: Insert one of the provided keys into the keyhole and turn to lock or unlock the mechanism.
- From the Interior: Use the thumb-turn button on the interior knob to lock or unlock the door.

6. Maintenance
