Setup and Assembly

Assembly of the KLMM Bunk Bed requires two adults. All necessary assembly instructions and tools are included in the packaging. Please follow the step-by-step guide provided with your product.

Before You Begin:

• Ensure you have sufficient space for assembly.
• Keep children and pets away from the assembly area.

Assembly Steps (General Guidance):

1. Begin by assembling the main bed frames for both the upper and lower bunks.
2. Attach the support slats to both bed frames.
3. Assemble the stairway structure, ensuring the storage shelves are correctly integrated.
4. Connect the stairway to the main bunk bed frame.
5. Attach the safety railings to the upper bunk.
6. Assemble the slide and securely attach it to the bunk bed frame. The slide is removable if not needed.
7. Tighten all bolts and screws, but do not overtighten.
8. Verify the stability of the entire structure before use.

Operating Instructions

Using the Bunk Beds:

• Place a Twin-sized mattress on both the upper and lower bunks. No box spring is required.
• Ensure the mattress on the upper bunk does not exceed the height of the safety railings.
• Access the upper bunk using the integrated stairway. The stairway features a handrail for added safety.
• The storage shelves within the stairway can be used to store books, toys, or other small items.

Using the Slide:

• The slide is designed for recreational use. Ensure the area around the slide is clear before use.
• Children should slide down feet first, one at a time.
• The slide can be easily removed if it is no longer needed or desired.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Wipe the bed frame with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners, as these can damage the lacquered finish.
• Hardware Check: Periodically check all bolts, screws, and connections to ensure they remain tight. Retighten if necessary to maintain stability and safety.
• Wood Care: The solid wood construction and lacquered finish are designed for durability. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or extreme temperature changes to prevent warping or cracking.

Troubleshooting

• Squeaking Noises: If the bed makes squeaking noises, check all hardware connections and tighten any loose bolts or screws.
• Instability: If the bed feels unstable, immediately cease use and re-check all assembly steps and hardware connections. Ensure the bed is on a flat, level surface.
• Damaged Parts: If any part of the bed is damaged or broken, discontinue use immediately and contact customer service for replacement parts. Do not attempt to repair damaged structural components yourself.
