Setup Instructions
Follow these steps carefully to install your WALI Dual Monitor Stand.
Step 1: Choose Your Mounting Option
The stand supports two installation methods: C-clamp or Grommet Base. Select the option suitable for your desk.

Figure 1: Installation Flexibility. This image illustrates the two primary installation methods: C-clamp for desks with edges and Grommet Base for desks with existing cable holes. The C-clamp supports desk thicknesses from 0.4" to 3.3", while the Grommet Base supports thicknesses from 0.4" to 3.1" and grommet hole diameters from 0.4" to 2.4".
- C-Clamp Installation: Attach the C-clamp to the edge of your desk. Ensure the clamp is securely tightened to prevent movement. This option is suitable for desks with a thickness between 0.4 inches and 3.3 inches.
- Grommet Base Installation: If your desk has a grommet hole, use the grommet base. Feed the bolt through the hole and secure it from underneath the desk. This option is suitable for desks with a thickness between 0.4 inches and 3.1 inches and a grommet hole diameter between 0.4 inches and 2.4 inches.
Step 2: Attach VESA Plates to Monitors
Attach the VESA plates to the back of your monitors using the provided screws. Ensure the screws are appropriate for your monitor's VESA mounting holes.

Figure 2: Monitor Attachment. This image shows two monitors securely attached to the VESA plates of the WALI Dual Monitor Stand. The VESA plates are designed for 75x75mm or 100x100mm patterns.
- Identify the VESA mounting holes on the back of your monitors.
- Select the correct screws (M4 or M5) and washers from the hardware kit.
- Align the VESA plate with the mounting holes and secure it with the screws. Do not overtighten.
Step 3: Mount Monitors to Arms
Carefully slide the VESA plates with attached monitors onto the monitor arms until they click into place. Ensure they are locked securely.

Figure 3: Built-in Tension Indicator. This image highlights the lockable VESA plate and the built-in tension indicator on the monitor arm. The indicator helps in aligning multiple monitors and adjusting the spring tension. Turning clockwise increases tension for heavier monitors, while turning counter-clockwise decreases tension for lighter monitors.
- With assistance, lift each monitor and slide its VESA plate onto the corresponding arm's mounting head.
- Ensure the plate is fully seated and the locking mechanism engages.
Operating Instructions
Adjust your monitors for optimal viewing comfort and ergonomic positioning.
Adjusting Monitor Position

Figure 4: Angle Adjustment. This diagram shows the range of motion for the monitor arms, including tilt (+40°/-40°), swivel (+90°/-90°), and 360° rotation. It also highlights a built-in 180-degree rotation stop to prevent interference with walls or partitions.
- Tilt: Adjust the monitor screen up or down by tilting it between +40° and -40°.
- Swivel: Rotate the monitor horizontally from side to side between +90° and -90°.
- Rotation: Rotate the monitor 360° for portrait or landscape orientation. The arm also features a built-in 180-degree rotation stop to prevent collision with walls.
- Height and Extension: The mechanical spring arms allow for smooth vertical height adjustments up to 17 inches and horizontal extension up to 18.9 inches. Gently push or pull the monitor to the desired position.

Figure 5: Height and Extension Adjustment. This image demonstrates the maximum height of 17 inches and maximum extension of 18.9 inches achievable with the monitor arms, allowing for optimal ergonomic positioning.
Tension Adjustment
If a monitor sags or does not stay in position, the spring tension needs adjustment. Use the provided Allen wrench.
- Locate the tension adjustment screw on the arm (refer to Figure 3).
- Turn clockwise for heavier monitors to increase tension.
- Turn counter-clockwise for lighter monitors to decrease tension.
- Adjust gradually until the monitor holds its position.
Cable Management
Route your cables through the integrated cable management channels for a tidy workspace.

Figure 6: Clean Cable Management. This image demonstrates how to route monitor cables through the integrated channels on the arms, contributing to an organized and clutter-free desk.
- Open the cable covers on the underside of the arms.
- Place your monitor cables (power, video, etc.) inside the channels.
- Close the covers to secure the cables.
Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and proper function of your monitor stand.
- Cleaning: Wipe the stand with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Inspection: Periodically check all screws and connections to ensure they are tight. Re-tighten if necessary.
- Lubrication: The mechanical spring mechanism is designed for maintenance-free operation. Do not attempt to lubricate internal components.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Monitor sags or does not stay in position. | Spring tension is too low for the monitor's weight. | Increase spring tension by turning the adjustment screw clockwise (refer to Figure 3). |
| Monitor is difficult to move or adjust. | Spring tension is too high for the monitor's weight. | Decrease spring tension by turning the adjustment screw counter-clockwise (refer to Figure 3). |
| Stand feels unstable or wobbles. | Mounting base is not securely tightened. | Re-tighten the C-clamp or grommet base screws. Ensure the desk surface is stable. |
| Monitors are not level with each other. | Minor variations in arm height or VESA plate alignment. | Adjust the height of individual VESA plates or fine-tune arm tension for balance. |
