Setup and Assembly

The Stokke Xplory X Carry Cot is designed for straightforward attachment to the Stokke Xplory X Stroller chassis. No complex assembly is required for the carry cot itself.

Attaching the Carry Cot to the Stroller Chassis:

1. Ensure the Stokke Xplory X Stroller chassis is fully unfolded and locked in position.
2. Align the carry cot with the attachment points on the stroller chassis.
3. Press down firmly until you hear an audible "click," indicating that the carry cot is securely locked into place.
4. Verify that the carry cot is firmly attached by gently lifting it. It should not detach.

Detaching the Carry Cot:

1. Locate the quick-release buttons on both sides of the carry cot.
2. Press both quick-release buttons simultaneously.
3. Gently lift the carry cot upwards to remove it from the stroller chassis.

Operating Instructions

Placing Your Baby in the Carry Cot:

• Always place your baby on their back in the carry cot.
• Ensure the mattress is properly positioned and flat.
• Do not use additional padding or bedding that could obstruct airflow or create a suffocation hazard.

Using the Wind Cover:

• Attach the wind cover to the carry cot using the designated fasteners to provide extra protection from wind and light rain.
• Ensure the wind cover does not cover the baby's face or restrict breathing.

Safety Guidelines:

• Never leave your child unattended in the carry cot.
• Do not use the carry cot if any part is broken, torn, or missing.
• Always ensure the carry cot is securely attached to the stroller chassis before placing your child inside.
• The carry cot is suitable for newborns up to approximately 6 months or until the child can push up on hands and knees, whichever comes first.
• Do not carry the carry cot with the child inside using only the carry cot handle. Always use the stroller chassis for transport.
