3. Setup Instructions

3.1 Initial Pairing

The remote control and outlet plug are typically pre-paired at the factory. If re-pairing is necessary or if you are setting up multiple units, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the remote control has batteries installed.
  2. Plug the thermostat outlet into a power source.
  3. Press and hold the power button on the outlet plug for approximately 3-5 seconds until the indicator light flashes.
  4. Within 10 seconds, press any button on the remote control. The indicator light on the outlet will stop flashing, indicating successful pairing.
  5. If setting up multiple units, ensure only one remote is active during pairing to avoid interference.

4.1 Display Overview

The remote control's LCD displays the current temperature, the set "Run" temperature (when the appliance turns ON), and the set "Stop" temperature (when the appliance turns OFF).

4.2 Setting Temperature Units (℃/℉)

To switch between Celsius (℃) and Fahrenheit (℉):

4.3 Setting Heating Mode

In heating mode, the appliance turns ON when the temperature drops below the "Run" setting and turns OFF when it reaches the "Stop" setting. The "Stop" temperature must be higher than the "Run" temperature.

  1. Press the 'SET' button once. The "Run" temperature will flash.
  2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to adjust the desired "Run" temperature.
  3. Press 'SET' again. The "Stop" temperature will flash.
  4. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to adjust the desired "Stop" temperature.
  5. Press 'SET' a third time to confirm settings and exit.

4.4 Setting Cooling Mode

In cooling mode, the appliance turns ON when the temperature rises above the "Run" setting and turns OFF when it reaches the "Stop" setting. The "Stop" temperature must be lower than the "Run" temperature.

  1. Press the 'SET' button once. The "Run" temperature will flash.
  2. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to adjust the desired "Run" temperature.
  3. Press 'SET' again. The "Stop" temperature will flash.
  4. Use the Up (▲) and Down (▼) arrows to adjust the desired "Stop" temperature.
  5. Press 'SET' a third time to confirm settings and exit.

4.5 High/Low Temperature Alarms

The thermostat can be configured to trigger an alarm if the temperature goes above a high limit or below a low limit.

  1. To set the high alarm: Press and hold the Up (▲) arrow for 3 seconds. The high alarm temperature will flash. Adjust using Up/Down arrows and press 'SET' to confirm.
  2. To set the low alarm: Press and hold the Down (▼) arrow for 3 seconds. The low alarm temperature will flash. Adjust using Up/Down arrows and press 'SET' to confirm.
  3. To disable an alarm, set its value to "OFF" during adjustment.
