1. Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the installation, operation, and maintenance of the Trust Smart Home ACM-2000 Built-in Switch. The ACM-2000 is designed to wirelessly control lights and appliances, offering convenient automation for your home or office environment. It can be easily mounted in various locations and supports devices up to 2000W.
2. Safety Information
- Electrical Installation: Installation should only be performed by a qualified electrician or in accordance with local electrical codes. Ensure power is disconnected before installation.
- Power Rating: Do not exceed the maximum load of 2000W. Overloading can cause damage to the device and pose a fire hazard.
- Environment: This device is designed for indoor use unless installed in an appropriate splash-proof housing (e.g., OWH-001/2, sold separately). Avoid exposure to moisture, extreme temperatures, or corrosive environments.
- Cleaning: Disconnect power before cleaning. Use a dry, soft cloth. Do not use liquid or aerosol cleaners.
- Disassembly: Do not attempt to open or repair the device. This will void the warranty and may cause electric shock.
3. Setup and Installation
The ACM-2000 built-in switch is designed for discreet installation within ceilings, standard mounting boxes, or cabinets. Ensure the power supply to the circuit is turned off before proceeding with any wiring.
3.1 Product Overview

Figure 1: Front view of the Trust Smart Home ACM-2000 Built-in Switch. This image shows the compact design of the switch, suitable for integration into existing electrical installations.

Figure 2: Top view of the ACM-2000 switch, highlighting the connection button (small circular indentation) and the four wiring terminals at the bottom. The connection button is used for pairing with transmitters.
3.2 Wiring Instructions
Before wiring, ensure the main power supply is switched off at the circuit breaker to prevent electrical shock.
- Identify the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires from your power supply and the Live (L) and Neutral (N) wires leading to your light or appliance.
- Connect the incoming Live (L) wire to one of the 'L' terminals on the ACM-2000.
- Connect the incoming Neutral (N) wire to one of the 'N' terminals on the ACM-2000.
- Connect the Live (L) wire of your light/appliance to the remaining 'L' terminal on the ACM-2000.
- Connect the Neutral (N) wire of your light/appliance to the remaining 'N' terminal on the ACM-2000.

Figure 3: Bottom view of the ACM-2000 showing the clearly labeled L (Live) and N (Neutral) terminals for electrical connections. There are two terminals for Live and two for Neutral, allowing for pass-through wiring.

Figure 4: The ACM-2000 with example wiring connected to its terminals. This illustrates how the Live (brown/black) and Neutral (blue) wires are connected to the device.
After wiring, carefully secure the switch in its intended location (e.g., ceiling, mounting box). If installing outdoors, ensure it is placed within a suitable IP56-rated splash-proof housing (e.g., OWH-001/2, sold separately).
3.3 Pairing with Transmitters
The ACM-2000 can be paired with up to 32 different Trust Smart Home transmitters (e.g., remote controls, wall switches).
- Restore power to the circuit. The connected light/appliance may briefly turn on.
- Press the easy connection button on the ACM-2000 (refer to Figure 2 for location). The connected light/appliance will turn on for 5 seconds, indicating it is in pairing mode.
- Within these 5 seconds, activate your desired Trust Smart Home transmitter (e.g., press the 'ON' button on a remote).
- The connected light/appliance will flash twice to confirm successful pairing.
- To pair additional transmitters, repeat steps 2-4.
Note: To delete a single paired transmitter, put the ACM-2000 into pairing mode (step 2) and then activate the transmitter you wish to delete. The light/appliance will flash once to confirm deletion. To delete all paired transmitters, press and hold the connection button for approximately 5 seconds until the light/appliance flashes four times.
3.4 Optional: Connecting to ICS-2000
For advanced control options, including smartphone app control, voice control, and timers, you can connect the ACM-2000 to a Trust Smart Home ICS-2000 Control Station (sold separately). Refer to the ICS-2000 manual for specific instructions on adding devices.
4. Operating Instructions
Once paired, the ACM-2000 operates as a simple ON-OFF switch for the connected light or appliance.
- Turning ON: Activate the 'ON' function on your paired Trust Smart Home transmitter. The connected device will turn on.
- Turning OFF: Activate the 'OFF' function on your paired Trust Smart Home transmitter. The connected device will turn off.
If connected to an ICS-2000, you can control the switch via the Trust Smart Home app, voice commands (if integrated with a smart assistant), or scheduled timers.
5. Maintenance
The Trust Smart Home ACM-2000 Built-in Switch requires minimal maintenance.
- Cleaning: Ensure power is disconnected before cleaning. Wipe the device with a dry, soft cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners, solvents, or liquid sprays.
- Inspection: Periodically check the wiring connections to ensure they are secure.
