Note: Light bulbs are not included. This fixture requires two E26 base bulbs, maximum 60 watts each.

Setup and Installation

Professional installation is recommended for this electrical fixture.

Tools Required (Not Included):

  • Phillips Head Screwdriver
  • Flathead Screwdriver
  • Wire Strippers
  • Electrical Tape
  • Safety Glasses

Installation Steps:

  1. Turn Off Power: Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and turn off the power to the junction box where the fixture will be installed. Verify power is off using a voltage tester.
  2. Prepare Mounting Plate: Attach the mounting plate (part of the hardware kit) to the electrical junction box in the ceiling using the provided screws. Ensure it is securely fastened.
  3. Wiring:
    • Connect the bare copper ground wire from the fixture to the green or bare copper ground wire from the junction box using a wire nut. If no ground wire is present in the junction box, consult a qualified electrician.
    • Connect the white (neutral) wire from the fixture to the white (neutral) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
    • Connect the black (hot) wire from the fixture to the black (hot) wire from the junction box using a wire nut.
    • Carefully tuck all wires into the junction box.
  4. Attach Fixture: Align the fixture with the mounting plate and secure it using the provided screws. Ensure the fixture is flush against the ceiling and stable.
  5. Install Bulbs: Screw two E26 base bulbs (max 60W each, not included) into the sockets. Do not overtighten.
  6. Restore Power: Turn the power back on at the circuit breaker. Test the light fixture.
