2. Package Contents

3. Product Overview
The Nighthawk MK83 system consists of one router and two satellites, working together to create a seamless mesh WiFi network.
Router (MR80)
- WAN Port: Connects to your modem for internet access.

4. Setup
Follow these steps to set up your Nighthawk Mesh WiFi 6 System:
- Download the Nighthawk App: Search for "NETGEAR Nighthawk" in your mobile device's app store and download the application.
- Position the Router: Place the Nighthawk router (MR80) in a central location near your existing modem.
- Connect the Router:
- Disconnect your modem from power.
- Connect one end of the provided Ethernet cable to the yellow WAN port on the Nighthawk router.
- Connect the other end of the Ethernet cable to your modem's Ethernet port.
- Connect the router's power adapter to the router and plug it into a power outlet.
- Power on your modem, then power on the Nighthawk router. Wait for the router's LED indicator to turn solid white or blue.
- Position the Satellites: Place the two Nighthawk satellites (MS80) in locations that provide optimal coverage, typically between the router and areas with weak WiFi signals. Ensure they are within range of the router and each other.
- Connect the Satellites: Connect each satellite's power adapter to the satellite and plug it into a power outlet. Wait for the satellite's LED indicator to turn solid white or blue.
- Complete Setup with App: Open the Nighthawk App on your mobile device and follow the on-screen instructions to configure your mesh WiFi network, including setting up your WiFi name (SSID) and password.

Once set up, your Nighthawk MK83 system provides a single, unified WiFi network name (SSID) for seamless roaming throughout your home. Devices automatically connect to the strongest signal as you move.
