5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Variable Speed Control

The drill features two variable speed settings for versatility across different tasks and materials.

  • Speed 1 (0-350 RPM): Use for driving screws, larger drilling diameters, or applications requiring higher torque and slower speed.
  • Speed 2 (0-1300 RPM): Use for drilling smaller holes, or applications requiring higher speed and lower torque.

Adjust the speed using the selector switch located on top of the drill.

5.2 Torque Adjustment (Clutch Settings)

The 25+1 position clutch allows for precise torque control, preventing over-driving screws or damaging materials.

  • Rotate the torque adjustment ring to select the desired setting.
  • Settings 1-25 are for driving screws into various materials (e.g., lower settings for soft wood, higher settings for hard wood or metal).
  • The drill icon setting (marked as '+1') is for drilling applications, providing maximum torque without clutch engagement.

5.3 Forward/Reverse and Trigger Lock

The forward/reverse switch controls the direction of rotation and acts as a trigger lock.

  • Push the switch to the left for forward rotation (driving screws, drilling).
  • Push the switch to the right for reverse rotation (removing screws, backing out bits).
  • Position the switch in the center to lock the trigger, preventing accidental operation. Always engage the trigger lock when changing bits or storing the tool.
