4. Setup
4.1 Power Supply
The camera requires 8 AA batteries for operation. For extended use, an external power adapter (not included) can be connected.
4.2 SD Card Installation
Insert a Class 10 or higher SD card (up to 128GB, not included) into the designated slot. Ensure the card is inserted correctly with the contacts facing down. It is recommended to format the SD card using the camera's menu before first use.

4.3 Mounting the Camera
Use the provided mounting strap to secure the camera to a tree or pole. Alternatively, use the wall mount and screws to attach the camera to a flat surface. Ensure the camera is stable and pointed towards the desired monitoring area.
4.4 App Installation and Connection
To utilize the camera's WiFi and Bluetooth features, download and install the "Hunting Camera" app on your smartphone. Follow these steps to connect:
- Step 1: Turn on your phone's Bluetooth.
- Step 2: Manually enable the camera's WiFi. Press and hold the '3S' button on the camera's video or photo preview screen to activate WiFi.
- Step 3: In the app, while in SETUP mode or ON mode, click "Connect Camera". Then click "Bluetooth opens WLAN in the first step". Enter the Bluetooth dropdown table, select the corresponding Bluetooth name, and your phone will automatically jump to the WiFi connection interface.
5. Operating the Camera
5.1 Basic Operation
After inserting batteries and an SD card, power on the camera using the mode switch. You can select between OFF, TEST, and ON modes. Use the TEST mode for setting up and adjusting camera parameters via the internal screen or the app. Switch to ON mode for automatic recording based on motion detection.
