Safety Instructions

Always observe the following safety guidelines to ensure safe operation and prevent damage or injury:

  • Maintain Distance: When cleaning, especially hard surfaces like tiles, always start with a certain distance between the spray lance and the surface. Only move closer if dirt does not disappear. Avoid concentrating the spray in one spot for too long, as this can damage the surface.
  • Check Connections: Before connecting the high-pressure washer, ensure all fittings and adapters are clean.
  • Post-Use Inspection: After each use, check that all screws and bolts are still tight. Loose screws can cause damage or injury.
  • Winterization: After use, remove any remaining water from the pump, hose, and accessories. Failure to do so can lead to rust or damage if the water freezes.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Always wear appropriate safety gear, including eye protection, hearing protection, and sturdy footwear, when operating the pressure washer.
  • Fuel Handling: Handle gasoline with extreme care. Refuel in a well-ventilated area with the engine off and cool. Avoid spilling fuel.
  • Electrical Safety: Ensure all electrical connections (if any, for starting) are dry and secure. Do not operate in wet conditions without proper precautions.

Setup

1. Assembly

  1. Attach Wheels: Securely attach the two wheels to the main unit using the provided mounting hardware.
  2. Install Trolley Handle: Mount the trolley handle to the designated points on the pressure washer frame.
  3. Assemble Hose Reel: Attach the hose reel and its handle to the unit. The integrated hose reel allows for compact storage and prevents kinking of the high-pressure hose.

2. Fuel and Oil

  • Fill Fuel Tank: Fill the 3-liter fuel tank with unleaded gasoline. Ensure the engine is off and cool before refueling.
  • Check Oil Level: Ensure the 1.1-liter oil tank is filled to the correct level with the recommended engine oil. Refer to the engine manual for specific oil type.

3. Water Connection

  • Connect Water Supply: Connect a garden hose to the water inlet connector (Ø 14 mm) on the pressure washer. Ensure the water supply is turned on fully.
  • Suction Hose Option: Alternatively, use the 20-meter suction hose to draw water from a fountain or cistern. Ensure the suction hose is fully submerged and free of air bubbles.
  • Integrated Water Filter: The integrated water filter protects the pump from dirt. Regularly check and clean this filter.

4. High-Pressure Hose and Spray Gun

  • Connect High-Pressure Hose: Connect one end of the 20-meter high-pressure hose to the water outlet (female, Ø 14 mm) on the unit and the other end to the spray gun.
  • Attach Spray Lance and Nozzle: Attach the metal spray lance to the spray gun. Select one of the five nozzles based on the cleaning task and attach it to the spray lance. The nozzle holder provides convenient storage for the different nozzles.

Operating Instructions

1. Starting the Engine

  • Ensure all connections are secure and the water supply is open.
  • Follow the engine manufacturer's instructions for starting (choke, fuel valve, pull cord). This model features an easy-start mechanism.
  • Once the engine starts, allow it to warm up for a few moments.

2. Using the High-Pressure Washer

  • Engage Spray Gun: Point the spray gun in a safe direction and squeeze the trigger to release water. This will purge air from the system.
  • Adjust Nozzle: Select the appropriate nozzle for your task. The 5 different nozzles allow for various spray patterns and intensities.
    • Red Nozzle: 0-degree pencil jet for intense cleaning of small, tough spots.
    • Yellow Nozzle: 15-degree fan spray for aggressive cleaning of smaller areas.
    • Green Nozzle: 25-degree fan spray for general cleaning.
    • White Nozzle: 40-degree fan spray for gentle cleaning of larger areas.
    • Black Nozzle: Low-pressure stream for detergent application.
  • Detergent Application: This unit features an integrated 6-liter detergent tank. Fill it with appropriate pressure washer detergent. When using the black (low-pressure) nozzle, the unit will draw detergent from the tank and mix it with the water.
  • Cleaning Technique: Always start cleaning from a distance and move closer if necessary. Keep the spray lance moving to avoid damaging surfaces.

3. Shutting Down

  • Release the spray gun trigger.
  • Turn off the engine.
  • Turn off the water supply.
  • Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure in the system.

Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

  • Nozzle Cleaning: Use the provided cleaning needle to clear any blockages from the nozzles after use. This prevents reduced pressure and uneven spray patterns.
  • Water Filter: Periodically inspect and clean the integrated water filter to prevent debris from entering the pump.
  • Engine Maintenance: Refer to the engine manufacturer's manual for specific maintenance schedules, including oil changes, spark plug inspection, and air filter cleaning.
  • Hose and Connections: Regularly inspect the high-pressure hoses, spray gun, and connections for wear, leaks, or damage. Replace worn parts immediately.
  • Storage: Before storing, especially in freezing temperatures, ensure all water is drained from the pump, hoses, and accessories to prevent damage. Store the unit in a dry, protected area.
