2.1 Initial Charge

1. Solar Charging: Place the lantern with the solar panel facing direct sunlight. The integrated solar panel will convert solar energy into electrical energy to charge the internal battery.
2. USB Rechargeable: Connect the included USB cable to the lantern's charging port and to a standard USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, power bank, computer USB port).
3. AA Battery Powered: For extended use or when other charging methods are unavailable, the lantern can be powered by 3x AA batteries. Open the battery compartment located at the bottom of the lantern and insert the batteries according to the polarity indicators. The internal rechargeable battery is used first, followed by the AA batteries.

3. Operating Instructions

3.1 Turning On/Off and Adjusting Brightness

The LETMY X2500 lantern features a simple pull-up mechanism for activation and brightness control:

• To turn on the lantern, gently pull the top section upwards from the base. The light will illuminate automatically.
• To adjust brightness, continue pulling the top section further upwards for increased light output, or push it downwards to decrease brightness.
• To turn off the lantern, fully collapse the top section back into the base.

3.2 Carrying and Hanging

The lantern is equipped with two metal handles for convenient carrying or hanging. These handles can be folded down when not in use for a more compact form factor.

• Lantern does not turn on:
  • Ensure the lantern is fully extended.
  • Check if the internal rechargeable battery is charged. Connect to a USB power source for charging.
  • If using AA batteries, verify they are inserted correctly with the correct polarity and are not depleted.
• Light is dim:
  • Fully extend the lantern to achieve maximum brightness.
  • Charge the internal battery or replace the AA batteries.
• Solar charging is slow:
  • Ensure the solar panel is exposed to direct sunlight for optimal charging efficiency.
  • Clean the solar panel surface to remove any dirt or debris that may obstruct sunlight.
