Kastar AC Wall Charger

Setup

1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove the battery and charger from their packaging.
2. Prepare Charger: If the charger's AC pins are folded, gently extend them until they lock into place, ready to be plugged into a wall outlet.
3. Insert Battery: Align the battery's contacts with the charger's contacts. Gently slide the battery into the charger until it is securely seated. Ensure the battery is inserted in the correct orientation.
4. Connect to Power: Plug the AC wall charger into a standard AC 100-240V 50/60Hz electrical outlet.

Operating

Charging the Battery

Once the battery is correctly inserted into the charger and the charger is plugged into a power outlet, the charging process will begin automatically.

• Charging Indicator: The LED indicator on the charger will illuminate RED to indicate that the battery is currently charging.
• Full Charge Indicator: When the battery is fully charged, the LED indicator will turn GREEN.
• Charging Time: Charging time may vary depending on the battery's remaining capacity and environmental conditions.

Using the Battery

Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger. Insert the battery into your compatible device according to the device's instruction manual. Ensure correct orientation and secure fit.

Maintenance

• Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the battery and charger. Do not use liquid cleaners or solvents.
• Storage: Store the battery and charger in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures. For long-term storage, it is recommended to store Lithium-Ion batteries with a partial charge (around 50%).
• Avoid Damage: Do not drop, puncture, or expose the battery or charger to strong impacts.

Troubleshooting

• Charger LED not lighting up:
  • Ensure the charger is securely plugged into a working AC outlet.
  • Verify the battery is correctly inserted into the charger with contacts aligned.
  • Check if the AC outlet is functional by plugging in another device.
• Battery not charging (LED remains RED for an extended period or does not turn GREEN):
  • Remove and re-insert the battery into the charger.
  • Ensure the battery contacts and charger contacts are clean and free of debris.
  • If the issue persists, the battery or charger may be faulty. Contact customer support.
• Battery not powering device:
  • Ensure the battery is fully charged (charger LED is GREEN).
  • Verify the battery is correctly inserted into your device.
  • Check your device's manual for proper battery installation.
