Thank you for choosing the WholeFire LED Torch. This powerful and versatile flashlight is designed for various outdoor activities, camping, hiking, and general utility. It features a high-output LED, USB rechargeability, and multiple light modes. Please read this manual carefully to ensure proper use and maintenance of your device.

Setup

1. Battery Installation

The flashlight is powered by one 18650 battery (included). It can also be used with one 26650 battery or three AAA batteries (not included). To install or replace batteries:

  1. Unscrew the tail cap of the flashlight.
  2. Insert the 18650 battery with the positive (+) end facing towards the flashlight head. If using AAA batteries, place them in the provided adapter first.
  3. Screw the tail cap back on securely.

2. Charging the Flashlight

The WholeFire LED Torch features a built-in USB input port for convenient charging. Use the included USB cable to charge the flashlight.

  1. Locate the USB charging port on the flashlight body. It is typically covered by a rubber flap for protection.
  2. Open the rubber flap and connect the micro USB end of the cable to the flashlight.
  3. Connect the standard USB end of the cable to a USB power source (e.g., wall adapter, computer, power bank).
  4. The intelligent power indicators above the switch will illuminate to show the charging status. Four illuminated lights indicate a full charge.

Operating Instructions

1. Power On/Off

Press the power switch button located on the flashlight body to turn the flashlight on or off.

2. Changing Light Modes

With the flashlight on, press the power switch button repeatedly to cycle through the 5 available light modes:

  • 100% Brightness: Maximum light output.
  • 70% Brightness: Reduced light output for extended battery life.
  • 50% Brightness: Moderate light output.
  • Flash (Strobe): Rapid flashing for signaling or disorientation.
  • SOS: International Morse code distress signal.

3. Zoom Function

The flashlight features a retractable zoom function to adjust the beam from a wide floodlight to a focused spotlight.

  • To Zoom In (Spotlight): Extend the flashlight head forward to narrow the beam for long-range illumination (up to 1700 feet).
  • To Zoom Out (Floodlight): Retract the flashlight head backward to widen the beam for illuminating a large area.

Maintenance

1. Cleaning

To maintain optimal performance and appearance:

  • Wipe the flashlight body with a soft, damp cloth.
  • Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Keep the lens clean for clear light output.

2. Water Resistance

The flashlight is IP5-rated waterproof, meaning it is protected against low-pressure water jets from any direction. It is suitable for use in various weather conditions, including rain.

Note: Do not submerge the flashlight in water.

3. Storage

When storing the flashlight for extended periods, remove the battery to prevent leakage and damage. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight.

Troubleshooting

  • Flashlight not turning on:
    • Ensure the battery is correctly installed with the positive (+) end facing the head.
    • Check if the battery is charged. Recharge if necessary.
    • Tighten the tail cap completely. A loose tail cap can prevent electrical contact.
  • Light output is dim:
    • The battery may be low. Recharge the flashlight.
    • Ensure the lens is clean.
  • Flashlight not charging:
    • Verify the USB cable is securely connected to both the flashlight and the power source.
    • Try a different USB cable or power source.
