  • Energy Saving: Unique honeycomb structure provides sound absorption and ideal insulation, reducing the harmful effects of ultraviolet rays and maintaining comfortable indoor temperatures year-round.
  • Customizable Fit: Made to order for precise fit within your skylight frame (minimum 2" depth required). A 0.1" reduction in width and length is applied for easy installation.
  • Complete Package: Includes all necessary mounting kits and instructions for customer self-installation.

Setup and Installation

The cellular shades are designed for self-installation. All necessary mounting kits and instructions are included in the package. For a smooth installation process, it is crucial to accurately measure your skylight window frame.

Measurement Guidelines:

  • Internal Installation: The blind is typically installed inside the skylight frame. A minimum depth of 2 inches (1 3/8" shown in diagram) is required for proper fit.
  • Custom Sizing: Ensure net size measurement is as precise as possible. The manufacturer will reduce the size by 0.1" in both width and length to prevent installation interference.
  • L-shape Bracket: Special L-shape brackets are available for over-the-frame mounting if internal installation is not feasible.

Assembly Steps:

  1. Lay the upper and lower frames with fabric on a flat surface and unfold the fabric. Place the side frames on both sides.
  2. Fix the upper/lower frames with the side frames using the provided assembly screws.
  3. Increase the thread tension by moving the two sliders towards each other if the shade cannot be closed completely.
  4. Mount the side rails to the window by tightening 2 screws on each side.

  • Dusting: Regularly dust the shades with a soft brush or a vacuum cleaner with a brush attachment to prevent dust buildup in the honeycomb cells.
  • Inspection: Periodically check the frame and operating mechanism for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all screws remain tight.
