Setup

1. Charging Your Earbuds

Before first use, fully charge your Skullcandy Dime earbuds and charging case.

  • Place the earbuds into the charging case. Ensure they are properly seated to make contact with the charging pins.
  • Connect the charging case to a power source using the provided USB cable.
  • The earbuds take approximately 1 hour to fully charge. The carrying case takes about 6 hours to fully charge.
  • A small LED indicator on each earbud will show charging status.

2. Pairing with Your Device

The Skullcandy Dime earbuds feature Bluetooth 5.2 for stable connectivity and auto-connect functionality.

  1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case. They will automatically enter pairing mode.
  2. On your device (smartphone, tablet, laptop), go to Bluetooth settings.
  3. Select "Skullcandy Dime" from the list of available devices.
  4. Once connected, you will hear an audio prompt confirming successful pairing.
  5. The earbuds will automatically connect to your last paired device when removed from the case.

Touch Controls

The Skullcandy Dime earbuds feature intuitive touch controls for managing music and calls.

  • Play/Pause: Single tap on either earbud.
  • Next Track: Double tap the right earbud.
  • Previous Track: Double tap the left earbud.
  • Volume Up: Triple tap the right earbud.
  • Volume Down: Triple tap the left earbud.
  • Answer/End Call: Single tap on either earbud during an incoming call.
  • Reject Call: Press and hold either earbud for 2 seconds during an incoming call.
  • Activate Voice Assistant: Press and hold either earbud for 3 seconds.

Using a Single Earbud

You can use either the left or right earbud independently for music or calls. Simply remove one earbud from the case, and it will automatically connect to your device.

Maintenance

Cleaning

Regular cleaning helps maintain optimal performance and hygiene.

Troubleshooting

Earbuds Not Pairing/Connecting

  • Place both earbuds back in the charging case, close the lid, wait a few seconds, then remove them to reset.

Only One Earbud Working

Charging Issues
