Thank you for choosing the SoleusAir 8,000 BTU Portable Air Conditioner. This unit is designed to provide cooling, dehumidification, and fan functions for your indoor spaces. To ensure safe and efficient operation, please read this manual thoroughly before installation and use. Keep this manual for future reference.

2. Safety Information
Always follow basic safety precautions when using electrical appliances to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, and injury.
- Ensure the power supply matches the voltage specified on the unit's rating label.
- Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord or plug.
- Do not block air inlets or outlets. Maintain at least 20 cm (8 inches) clearance from walls and other objects.
- Do not insert fingers or foreign objects into the air vents.
- Place the unit on a flat, stable surface to prevent tipping.
- Unplug the unit before cleaning or performing any maintenance.
- This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

3.1 Components

3.2 Control Panel and Display
The unit features an intuitive electronic control panel with an LED display for easy operation.

Key Control Panel Features:
- LED Display: Shows current temperature, timer settings, and error codes.
- Power Button: Turns the unit On or Off.
- Mode Button: Cycles through Cool, Dehumidify, and Fan modes.
- Fan Speed Button: Adjusts fan speed (Low, Medium, High, Turbo Cool).
- Timer Button: Activates and sets the 24-hour timer.
- Temperature Up/Down Buttons: Adjusts the desired temperature.
- Sleep Button: Activates Sleep Mode for energy-saving operation.
- Turbo Cool Button: Engages maximum cooling power.
- Bucket Full Indicator: Illuminates when the internal water tank is full and needs draining.
4. Setup and Installation
4.1 Unpacking
Carefully remove the unit and all accessories from the packaging. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport. Inspect the unit for any damage.
4.2 Placement
Place the portable air conditioner on a firm, level surface in the desired room. Ensure there is at least 20 cm (8 inches) of space around the unit for proper airflow. Avoid placing the unit near heat sources or in direct sunlight.
4.3 Window Kit Installation
The window slider kit is essential for exhausting hot air outside. Proper installation ensures efficient cooling.

- Assemble the window slider kit to fit your window opening. The kit includes adjustable panels.
- Connect one end of the exhaust hose to the unit's exhaust port.
- Connect the other end of the exhaust hose to the window kit adapter.
- Securely install the window kit in your window, ensuring a tight seal to prevent outside air from entering.
- Extend the exhaust hose and connect it to the window kit, ensuring it is not kinked or bent sharply.

5. Operating Instructions
5.1 Power On/Off
Press the POWER button on the control panel or remote control to turn the unit on or off.
5.2 Mode Selection
Press the MODE button to cycle through the available operating modes:
- Cool Mode: Provides cooling. Adjust temperature using the Up/Down buttons.
- Dehumidify Mode: Removes moisture from the air. Fan speed is fixed to low.
- Fan Mode: Circulates air without cooling. Adjust fan speed as desired.
5.3 Temperature Adjustment
In Cool mode, use the Up and Down arrow buttons to set your desired temperature. The temperature range is typically 17°C to 30°C (62°F to 86°F).
5.4 Fan Speed Selection
Press the FAN SPEED button to select between Low, Medium, High, or Turbo Cool fan speeds. Turbo Cool provides maximum airflow and cooling power.
5.5 24-Hour Timer
The 24-hour timer allows you to program the unit to turn on or off automatically.
- To set Auto-Off: With the unit running, press the TIMER button. Use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired number of hours (1-24) before the unit turns off.
- To set Auto-On: With the unit off, press the TIMER button. Use the Up/Down buttons to select the desired number of hours (1-24) before the unit turns on.
5.6 Sleep Mode
Press the SLEEP button to activate Sleep Mode. In this mode, the unit will gradually increase the set temperature by 1°C (2°F) after 30 minutes, and again after another 30 minutes, then maintain this temperature for 7 hours before returning to normal operation. This mode helps save energy and provides comfortable sleeping conditions.
5.7 MyTemp Remote Control
The MyTemp remote control allows you to operate the unit from across the room. It features a temperature sensor that provides more accurate temperature readings at your location, optimizing comfort.
6. Maintenance
Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your portable air conditioner.
6.1 Air Filter Cleaning
The air filter should be cleaned every two weeks or more frequently depending on usage and air quality.
- Unplug the unit from the power outlet.
- Locate and remove the air filter from the back of the unit.
- Wash the filter with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Allow the filter to air dry completely before reinserting it into the unit. Do not use a dryer or direct heat.

6.2 Water Drainage
