1. Product Overview
The IQOS ILUMA is an advanced tobacco heating device that utilizes the innovative SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM technology. 2. What's Included
The IQOS ILUMA kit typically includes the following components:

Please note: The package does not contain tobacco sticks, pre-filled cartridges, or refills. The device is only compatible with specially designed tobacco sticks for IQOS ILUMA.
3. Setup and First Use
3.1 Charging the Device
Before first use, ensure your IQOS ILUMA pocket charger and holder are fully charged. Connect the charging cable to the pocket charger and plug it into a power outlet. The indicator lights on the pocket charger will show the charging status.
- A full charge of the pocket charger typically takes approximately 135 minutes.
- The holder charges within the pocket charger. Ensure the holder is inserted correctly into the pocket charger.

3.2 Initial Activation
Once fully charged, your IQOS ILUMA device is ready for use. No initial setup or pairing is required beyond charging.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Using the IQOS ILUMA Holder
- Insert the Tobacco Stick: Gently insert a specially designed tobacco stick into the holder, ensuring it goes in straight without twisting.
- Start Heating: Press and hold the button on the holder until it vibrates. The indicator light will pulse to indicate heating.
- Ready to Use: The holder will vibrate twice and the light will stay solid when it's ready for use.
- Usage: The device provides a consistent experience for approximately 6 minutes or 14 puffs, whichever comes first.
- End of Use: The holder will vibrate twice again, and the light will fade out when the experience is complete.
- Remove the Stick: Carefully remove the used tobacco stick and dispose of it responsibly.

4.2 Understanding Indicator Lights
The IQOS ILUMA holder and pocket charger feature indicator lights to communicate device status:
- Solid White Light: Device is ready for use or fully charged.
- Pulsing White Light: Device is heating or charging.
- Red Light: Indicates an error or low battery. Refer to the Troubleshooting section.
5. Maintenance
One of the key advantages of the IQOS ILUMA system is its innovative design that eliminates the need for cleaning. Thanks to the SMARTCORE INDUCTION SYSTEM, there is no blade inside the holder and no tobacco residue left behind after use.

Therefore, routine cleaning of the holder is not required. Simply dispose of the used tobacco stick after each use.
6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your IQOS ILUMA device, please refer to the following common troubleshooting steps:
