Setup

1. Charging the Speaker

Before first use, fully charge the speaker. Connect the supplied USB charging cable to the Micro USB port on the speaker and the other end to a USB power adapter (not included) or a computer's USB port. The charging indicator light will illuminate during charging and turn off when fully charged.

2. Powering On/Off

  • To Power On: Press and hold the Power button (often integrated with the Play/Pause button) for a few seconds until you hear an audible prompt or see an indicator light.
  • To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button again for a few seconds until the speaker powers down.

Operating Instructions

1. Bluetooth Connection

  1. Ensure the speaker is powered on and in Bluetooth pairing mode. You may hear an audible prompt indicating it's ready to pair.
  2. On your smartphone or other Bluetooth-enabled device, go to the Bluetooth settings.
  3. Search for available devices and select "GDM-1010" (or similar name) from the list.
  4. Once connected, you will hear a confirmation sound. You can now play audio from your device through the speaker.

2. Auxiliary (AUX) Mode

Connect one end of a 3.5mm audio cable (not included) to the AUX input port on the speaker (refer to Image 2) and the other end to the audio output jack of your device. The speaker should automatically switch to AUX mode. If not, press the 'Mode' button to cycle through modes until AUX is selected.

3. USB Playback

Insert a USB flash drive containing MP3 audio files into the USB-A port on the speaker (refer to Image 1). The speaker will automatically detect the USB drive and begin playing music. Use the control buttons to navigate tracks.

4. TF Card Playback

Insert a TF (MicroSD) card containing MP3 audio files into the TF card slot on the speaker (refer to Image 1). The speaker will automatically detect the card and begin playing music. Use the control buttons to navigate tracks.

5. Control Buttons

  • Mode Button: Press to switch between Bluetooth, AUX, USB, and TF card modes.
  • Play/Pause Button: Press to play or pause audio. Press and hold to power on/off.
  • Volume Up / Next Track: Short press to increase volume. Long press to skip to the next track.
  • Volume Down / Previous Track: Short press to decrease volume. Long press to go to the previous track.

6. Hands-Free Calling

When connected via Bluetooth to your smartphone, the built-in microphone allows for hands-free calls. When a call comes in, press the Play/Pause button to answer. Press again to end the call. Press and hold to reject an incoming call.

Maintenance

  • Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the speaker's exterior. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
  • Storage: Store the speaker in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use for extended periods.
  • Battery Care: To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Charge the speaker regularly, even if not in use, to maintain battery health.
  • Water Exposure: This speaker is not waterproof. Avoid exposure to water or excessive moisture.

Troubleshooting

  • No Power: Ensure the speaker is fully charged. Connect the USB charging cable and try to power on again.
  • Cannot Connect via Bluetooth:
    • Ensure the speaker is in Bluetooth pairing mode.
    • Make sure Bluetooth is enabled on your device.
    • Move the speaker closer to your device (within 10 meters).
    • Forget the device from your phone's Bluetooth list and try pairing again.
    • Restart both the speaker and your device.
  • No Sound:
    • Check the volume level on both the speaker and your connected device.
    • Ensure the correct input mode (Bluetooth, AUX, USB, TF) is selected.
    • If using AUX, ensure the cable is fully inserted and not damaged.
    • If using USB/TF, ensure the audio files are in a compatible format (e.g., MP3) and the storage device is properly inserted.
  • Poor Sound Quality:
    • Move the speaker closer to your Bluetooth device to reduce interference.
    • Ensure there are no obstructions between the speaker and the Bluetooth device.
    • Try playing a different audio source to rule out file quality issues.
