Setup Instructions

Follow these steps to set up your pressure washer for first use:

  1. Assemble the Spray Gun and Lance: Connect the spray gun to the lance securely.
  2. Connect the High-Pressure Hose: Attach one end of the high-pressure hose to the pressure washer's outlet and the other end to the spray gun. Ensure all connections are tight to prevent leaks.
  3. Connect Water Supply:
    • From a Water Tap: Connect a garden hose (not included) to your water tap and then to the pressure washer's water inlet. Ensure the water tap is fully open.
    • From a Bucket (Automatic Suction): Place the water inlet hose with the filter into a bucket of clean water. The unit can automatically draw water.

Figure 3: Water Supply Connection Options. This diagram illustrates two methods for connecting the water supply: directly from a water tap or by using the automatic suction feature from a water bucket.

  4. Attach a Nozzle: Select the desired quick-connect nozzle (0°, 15°, 25°, 40°, or soap nozzle) and firmly insert it into the end of the spray lance until it clicks into place.
  5. Fill Detergent Tank (Optional): If using detergent, fill the integrated detergent tank with an appropriate pressure washer-safe cleaning solution.
  6. Connect Power: Plug the power cord into a grounded electrical outlet.

Operating Instructions

Once assembled and connected, follow these steps to operate your pressure washer:

  1. Purge Air from the System: Before turning on the power, squeeze the trigger on the spray gun for approximately 30 seconds to allow water to flow through the system and expel any trapped air. This prevents damage to the pump.
  2. Start the Pressure Washer: Turn the power switch to the 'ON' position. The motor will start, and the unit will build pressure.
  3. Engage the Spray Gun: Release the safety lock on the spray gun and squeeze the trigger to begin spraying.
  4. Adjust Spray Pattern: Change nozzles as needed for different cleaning tasks. Refer to Figure 2 for nozzle types and their applications.
  5. Apply Detergent: To apply detergent, use the black soap nozzle. The pressure washer will automatically draw detergent from the tank when this nozzle is attached and the trigger is squeezed.
  6. Total Stop System (TSS): The unit features a TSS that automatically shuts off the pump when the trigger is released, saving energy and extending pump life. The pump will restart when the trigger is squeezed again.
  7. Safety Lock: Always engage the safety child lock on the spray gun when not actively spraying to prevent accidental operation.

Maintenance

Proper maintenance ensures the longevity and optimal performance of your pressure washer.

  • After Each Use:
    • Turn off the power and water supply.
    • Squeeze the spray gun trigger to release any remaining pressure.
    • Disconnect all hoses and drain any water from the unit and accessories.
    • Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
  • Hose Reel: Use the integrated hose reel to neatly store the high-pressure hose, preventing kinks and damage.
  • Inlet Filter: Regularly check and clean the water inlet filter to prevent blockages and ensure proper water flow.
  • Storage: Store the pressure washer in a dry, frost-free environment. If storing for an extended period, consider using a pump protector solution.
