Attaching the Hose
The pump features dual ports for both inflation and deflation. These ports are typically located at the top and bottom of the pump cylinder.
- For inflation, securely connect the flexible hose to the port located at the top of the pump.
- For deflation, securely connect the flexible hose to the port located at the bottom of the pump.
Selecting the Correct Nozzle
The pump includes multiple nozzle attachments designed to fit various valve sizes on different inflatables.
- Choose the nozzle that best fits the air valve of the item you intend to inflate or deflate.
- Firmly attach the selected nozzle to the free end of the flexible hose.

Operating Your Pump
Inflation
- Ensure the hose is connected to the inflation port (top of the pump).
- Insert the selected nozzle firmly into the inflatable's air valve.
- Place your feet on the footrests at the base of the pump for stability.
- Grip the handle and move it up and down in a steady, continuous motion. The pump is designed to inflate on both the upstroke and downstroke, providing efficient air flow.
- Continue pumping until the inflatable reaches the desired firmness. Do not over-inflate.
- Remove the nozzle from the valve and securely close the inflatable's air cap.

Deflation
- Connect the flexible hose to the deflation port (bottom of the pump).
- Insert the appropriate nozzle firmly into the inflatable's air valve.
- Move the handle up and down. The pump will draw air out of the inflatable, assisting in quick deflation for compact storage.
- Continue until the inflatable is sufficiently deflated.
- Remove the nozzle and securely close the inflatable's air cap.
Care and Maintenance
- After each use, wipe down the pump with a damp cloth to remove any dirt or debris.
- Ensure the hose and nozzles are clean and free of obstructions.
- Store the pump in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to prolong its lifespan.
- Avoid exposing the pump to harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
Troubleshooting
Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
---|---|---|
Pump not inflating/deflating efficiently | Loose hose connection | Ensure hose is securely attached to the correct port (inflation or deflation) and the nozzle is firmly in the valve. |
Air leaking from nozzle connection | Incorrect nozzle size or worn seal | Try a different nozzle size. Check for damage to the nozzle or hose seal. |
Handle is stiff or difficult to move | Internal friction or debris | Ensure the pump shaft is clean. A small amount of silicone-based lubricant can be applied to the shaft if needed (avoid petroleum-based lubricants). |
