Operating Instructions

Unfolding and Folding

The Wonder Rollator Plus features patented EZ Fold-N-Go technology, allowing it to fold significantly smaller than average rollators. To unfold, simply pull the handles apart until the frame locks into place. To fold, lift the seat strap or handle, and the rollator will collapse inward. Ensure all components are securely locked when unfolded for stability, and fully collapsed when folded for compact storage.

Using the Perch Seat

The rollator features a 15.5 by 6-inch non-slip perch seat, designed to safely support up to 250 pounds. This compact seat, along with the back strap, provides a convenient place to rest during travel or while out. To use the seat, ensure the rollator is on a flat, stable surface and the brakes are engaged. Sit facing forward, using the handles for support as needed.

Braking System

The rollator is equipped with rear locking brakes for enhanced safety and control. To engage the brakes, squeeze the brake levers located on the handles. To lock the brakes for sitting or stationary use, push the brake levers down until they click into the locked position. To release, pull the levers up. Always ensure brakes are functioning correctly before each use.

Adjustable Handles

The padded handles can be adjusted in height from 27 to 30 inches to accommodate users of various heights. For optimal comfort and support, adjust the handles so that they align with your wrist height when standing upright with your arms relaxed at your sides. This ensures proper posture and reduces strain during use.

Storage and Portability

The rollator includes an organizer pouch and an undercarriage basket for carrying personal items. The organizer pouch is located near the handles, providing easy access to smaller essentials. The mesh undercarriage basket offers additional storage for larger items like groceries or a purse. The lightweight design (14.5 pounds) and compact folding make it easy to transport and store in tight spaces, such as a car trunk or overhead bin.

Maintenance

To ensure the longevity and safe operation of your Stander Wonder Rollator Plus Short, regular maintenance is recommended. Keep the frame clean by wiping it with a damp cloth. Inspect the wheels, brakes, and folding mechanisms periodically for any signs of wear or damage. Ensure all screws and fasteners are tight. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents, as these may damage the finish or components.

Troubleshooting

If you encounter any issues with your rollator, please refer to the following general advice:

  • Difficulty Folding/Unfolding: Ensure no obstructions are present in the folding mechanism. Check that the seat strap is properly engaged when folding.
  • Brakes Not Engaging: Inspect the brake cables for looseness or damage. Ensure the brake levers are fully squeezed or pushed down to lock.
  • Unstable Movement: Verify that all frame components are securely locked in place after unfolding. Check wheels for any damage or debris.
