4. Calibration
Regular calibration ensures the accuracy of your balance. Calibration weights are included in the package.
- Ensure the scale is placed stably and level.
- Press and hold the TARE/CAL button until the display shows "CAL".
- When the balance displays a twinkling weight, place the suitable calibration weight (e.g., 500g) on the pan. The balance will automatically recognize and calibrate the current weight.
- Wait approximately 3 seconds; the number will stop flashing. Remove the calibration weight. The display will show "0.00" (or "0.000"), indicating that calibration is complete. If the balance is not reset to zero, repeat the operation.

1. Cleaning
To clean the balance, use a soft, damp cloth with a mild detergent. Do not use abrasive cleaners or immerse the unit in water. The stainless steel weighing pan can be removed for easier cleaning.
2. Storage
When not in use, store the balance in a clean, dry environment away from extreme temperatures, humidity, and direct sunlight. Ensure the weighing pan is clean and free of debris.
3. Regular Checks
Periodically check the leveling of the balance and recalibrate as needed, especially if the balance has been moved or if accuracy is critical for your application.
Troubleshooting
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Inaccurate readings | Not level, needs calibration, unstable surface, drafts. | Adjust leveling feet, perform calibration, place on stable surface, avoid drafts. |
| Display shows "EEEE" or "OUEr" | Overload. | Remove excess weight from the pan. Do not exceed maximum capacity. |
| Display is blank or flickering | Power issue, low battery. | Check power adapter connection, replace batteries if applicable. |
| Cannot switch units or modes | Incorrect button press duration, software glitch. | Ensure correct long/short press duration. Turn off and restart the balance. |
