Controls and Display

Familiarize yourself with the clock's controls and display indicators:

Setup

  1. Power Connection: Plug the AC power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The LED display will light up.
  2. Battery Backup (Optional but Recommended):
    • Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
    • Insert one 9V battery (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
    • Close the battery compartment cover.

    Note: The battery backup only maintains time and alarm settings during a power outage; the display will not be lit when operating on battery power alone.

Operating Instructions

Setting the Time:

  1. Press and hold the TIME button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
  2. While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
  3. While still holding the TIME button, press the MIN button repeatedly to advance the minute.
  4. Release the TIME button to save the set time. The display will stop flashing.

Setting the Alarm:

  1. Press and hold the ALARM button. The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
  2. While holding the ALARM button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the desired alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.
  3. While still holding the ALARM button, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the desired alarm minute.
  4. Release the ALARM button to save the alarm time. The alarm time will stop flashing.
  5. To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. A red alarm indicator dot will appear on the display.
  6. To deactivate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. The red alarm indicator dot will disappear.

Using the Snooze Function:

When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.

Turning Off the Alarm:

To turn off the alarm completely after it sounds (without snoozing), slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.

Maintenance

Troubleshooting

Display is blank.No AC power; power outage.Ensure the power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. If there's a power outage, the display will remain off even with battery backup.
