Controls and Display
Familiarize yourself with the clock's controls and display indicators:

- TIME Button: Used to enter time setting mode.
- ALARM Button: Used to enter alarm setting mode.
- SNOOZE Button: Activates the snooze function when the alarm sounds.
- HOUR Button: Adjusts the hour in time or alarm setting mode.
- MIN Button: Adjusts the minute in time or alarm setting mode.
- ALARM ON/OFF Switch: Toggles the alarm function on or off.
- PM Indicator: A red dot on the display indicates PM hours.
- ALARM Indicator: A red dot on the display indicates the alarm is set.
Setup
- Power Connection: Plug the AC power cord into a standard electrical outlet. The LED display will light up.
- Battery Backup (Optional but Recommended):
- Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the clock.
- Insert one 9V battery (not included), observing the correct polarity (+/-).
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Note: The battery backup only maintains time and alarm settings during a power outage; the display will not be lit when operating on battery power alone.
Operating Instructions
Setting the Time:
- Press and hold the TIME button. The hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the TIME button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to advance the hour. Observe the PM indicator for correct AM/PM setting.
- While still holding the TIME button, press the MIN button repeatedly to advance the minute.
- Release the TIME button to save the set time. The display will stop flashing.
Setting the Alarm:
- Press and hold the ALARM button. The alarm hour digits will begin to flash.
- While holding the ALARM button, press the HOUR button repeatedly to set the desired alarm hour. Observe the PM indicator.
- While still holding the ALARM button, press the MIN button repeatedly to set the desired alarm minute.
- Release the ALARM button to save the alarm time. The alarm time will stop flashing.
- To activate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "ON" position. A red alarm indicator dot will appear on the display.
- To deactivate the alarm, slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position. The red alarm indicator dot will disappear.
Using the Snooze Function:
When the alarm sounds, press the large SNOOZE button located on the top of the clock. The alarm will temporarily stop and sound again after approximately 9 minutes.
Turning Off the Alarm:
To turn off the alarm completely after it sounds (without snoozing), slide the ALARM ON/OFF switch to the "OFF" position.
Maintenance
- Cleaning: Wipe the clock with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Battery Replacement: Replace the 9V battery annually or if the clock fails to maintain time during a power interruption.
- Placement: Place the clock on a stable, flat surface away from direct sunlight, heat sources, and excessive moisture.
Troubleshooting
