1. Introduction

The PDMICKT34 kit includes the following items:

  1. Unpack Components: Carefully remove all items from the hard carry case.
  2. Attach Microphone Holder: If using a microphone stand, screw the microphone holder/clip onto the stand's threaded top.
  3. Insert Microphone: Gently insert one of the Pyle dynamic microphones into the microphone holder/clip. Ensure it is securely seated.
  4. Connect XLR Cable:
    • Connect the XLR end of the audio cable to the XLR port at the base of the microphone. Ensure it clicks into place.
    • Connect the 1/4'' (6.35mm) end of the audio cable to the microphone input on your mixer, amplifier, or audio interface.
  5. Apply Windscreen (Optional):

    For improved sound clarity and protection against plosives (e.g., 'p' and 'b' sounds) and wind noise, gently slide the foam windscreen over the microphone's grill. Ensure it covers the entire mesh area.
