1. Introduction
The TOPDON ArtiDiag500 is an advanced OBD2 diagnostic scan tool designed for comprehensive vehicle system analysis and maintenance. 2. Setup
2.1 Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your TOPDON ArtiDiag500, carefully open the package and verify that all components are present and undamaged. The standard package includes:

2.2 Charging the Device
The ArtiDiag500 comes with a built-in 3350mAh lithium-ion battery. Before first use, it is recommended to fully charge the device using the provided USB Type-C cable and a compatible power adapter (not included). The charging indicator will show the battery status.
2.3 Connecting to Vehicle
Locate the vehicle's OBD-II port, typically found under the dashboard on the driver's side. Connect the OBD-II diagnostic cable from the ArtiDiag500 to the vehicle's OBD-II port. Once connected, the device will power on automatically.
2.4 Wi-Fi Setup and Updates

2.5 Language Selection

3.1 4-System Diagnostics

3.2 6 Reset Functions
The ArtiDiag500 provides six commonly used maintenance reset services to assist with routine vehicle upkeep:
- Oil Reset: Resets the oil life system after an oil change.
- SAS (Steering Angle Sensor) Reset: Calibrates the steering angle sensor after replacement or maintenance.
- Throttle Adaptation: Relearns the throttle body position after cleaning or replacement.
- TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System) Reset: Resets tire pressure sensors after tire rotation or replacement.
- BMS (Battery Management System) Reset: Registers a new battery to the ECU after replacement.
- EPB (Electronic Parking Brake) Reset: Deactivates and reactivates the brake control system for brake pad replacement.

3.3 OBD2 Full Functions

3.4 Smart AutoVIN
