4. Maintenance

4.1 Cleaning

To clean the mouse, use a soft, dry cloth. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, ensuring no moisture enters the internal components. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.

4.2 Mouse Feet

The mouse feet are covered by a protective plastic film. For optimal gliding and movement, gently peel off this plastic film before use.

4.3 Battery Care

To prolong battery life, avoid fully discharging the mouse frequently. Recharge the mouse when the battery indicator suggests low power. If storing the mouse for an extended period, charge it to approximately 50% and store in a cool, dry place.

5. Troubleshooting

  • Mouse not responding:
    • Ensure the mouse is powered on.
    • Check if the USB receiver is securely plugged into a working USB port.
    • Verify the mouse battery has sufficient charge. Connect the charging cable to test if it works in wired mode.
    • Try plugging the USB receiver into a different USB port.
  • Cursor movement is erratic or stops randomly:
    • Ensure the mouse is within the 10-meter wireless range of the receiver.
    • Check for potential interference from other wireless devices.
    • Clean the optical sensor on the underside of the mouse.
    • Ensure the mouse is used on a suitable surface (e.g., a mouse pad).
    • Check battery level.
  • Cursor sensitivity is too high or too low:
    • Press the DPI button to adjust the mouse's sensitivity.
    • Adjust the mouse speed settings within your computer's operating system (e.g., Windows Mouse Settings, macOS Trackpad/Mouse settings).
  • Buttons not functioning:
    • Ensure the mouse is properly connected (wireless or wired).
    • Test the mouse on a different computer to rule out software conflicts.
