4. Operating Instructions
Your SYLVANIA LED Light Disk offers adjustable color temperature and dimming capabilities to customize your lighting experience.
Color Temperature Selection:
This light disk features 5 CCT (Correlated Color Temperature) options, allowing you to choose between different shades of white light:
- 2700K (Soft White): A warm, inviting light, similar to traditional incandescent bulbs. Ideal for bedrooms and living areas.
- 3000K (Warm White): Slightly less yellow than soft white, providing a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere.
- 3500K (Bright White): A neutral white light, suitable for kitchens, offices, and general task lighting.
- 4000K (Cool White): A crisp, clean white light, often used in bathrooms, basements, or utility areas.
- 5000K (Daylight): A bright, bluish-white light, mimicking natural daylight. Best for areas requiring high visibility, such as workshops or garages.
To select the desired color temperature, locate the small switch on the back of the light disk (before installation) or on the side of the fixture (if accessible after installation). Slide the switch to the desired Kelvin (K) setting.

- Bulb Replacement: This LED light disk features integrated LEDs and does not require bulb replacement. The LEDs are designed to last for approximately 50,000 hours.
6. Troubleshooting
If you experience issues with your SYLVANIA LED Light Disk, please refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Light does not turn on. | No power to the fixture; loose wiring; faulty switch. | Check circuit breaker. Ensure all wiring connections are secure. Test the light switch. |
| Light flickers or buzzes. | Incompatible dimmer switch; loose wiring; electrical interference. | Ensure you are using an LED-compatible dimmer. Check wiring connections. Consult an electrician if issues persist. |
| Light is too bright or not dimming sufficiently. | Dimmer range limitation; incorrect dimmer type. | Verify the dimmer is fully adjusted. Ensure the dimmer is specifically designed for LED lights and supports the wattage range of the fixture. Some dimmers may not allow 100% dimming. |
| Color temperature is not as expected. | CCT selection switch set incorrectly. | Before or during installation, ensure the CCT selection switch on the back/side of the light disk is set to your desired Kelvin value. |
