Setup

1. Attaching the TV Stand

Place the TV screen-down on a soft, flat surface to prevent damage. Align the stand bases with the corresponding slots on the bottom of the TV. Secure the stands using the provided screws.

Alternatively, for wall mounting, use a VESA compatible bracket (200mm x 200mm) (not included). Refer to the wall mount instructions for proper installation.

2. Connecting External Devices

The TV provides various input and output ports for connecting external devices. Ensure the TV is powered off before making any connections.

  • HDMI 2.0 (HDCP 2.2) x 3: Connect Blu-ray players, game consoles, or other HDMI-enabled devices.

3. Initial Power On and Setup

  1. Connect the power cord to the TV and then to a wall outlet.
  2. Press the power button on the TV or the remote control to turn on the TV.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to select your preferred language (English, French, Arabic, Swahili, Amharic are options), country, and network settings (Wi-Fi or wired).
  4. Perform a channel scan for broadcast TV if you have connected an antenna or cable.

Operating Instructions

1. Remote Control Usage

The TV comes with two remote controls (model RC-ES01-03). Insert the provided batteries into the remote control. The remote operates using NEC IR protocol at 38KHz frequency. Ensure a clear line of sight to the TV's IR receiver. The active area is approximately 8 meters straight line and 7 meters at horizontal ±30° and vertical ±15° angles.

2. Basic TV Functions

  • Channel Management: The TV supports storing up to 199 channels for ATV/Cable and 1000 channels for DTV/Air. Use the remote to navigate channels, access the channel list, and edit channels.
  • Picture Mode: Adjust picture settings to your preference. Available modes include Standard, Soft, Football, and User (custom).
  • Sound Mode: Select from Standard, Music, Football, or User (custom) sound modes. The TV supports MTS/NICAM audio.
  • Zoom: Adjust the screen aspect ratio. Options include Full (default), 4:3, Film, Subtitle, and Auto.
  • Mute: Temporarily silence the TV audio.
  • Sleep Timer: Set a timer for the TV to automatically turn off.
