3. Setup

General Cooking Steps

  4. Place Inner Pot: Insert the inner pot into the main unit, ensuring it is seated correctly. Close the lid securely.
  5. Select Program: Press the Power button to turn on the appliance. Select the desired cooking program (e.g., White Rice, Brown Rice) from the control panel. The indicator light for the selected program will illuminate.
  6. Start Cooking: The appliance will automatically begin the cooking process. The Fuzzy Logic technology will adjust cooking time and temperature for optimal results.
  7. Keep Warm: Once cooking is complete, the appliance will automatically switch to the 'Keep Warm' function. This function maintains the food at an optimal serving temperature.
  8. Serve: Open the lid carefully, avoiding hot steam. Use the provided rice spatula to serve. Unplug the appliance after use.

  • Quick Cooking/Steam: For steaming vegetables, fish, or other foods, place them in the steam basket. Add water to the inner pot (below the steam basket). Place the steam basket inside the inner pot, close the lid, and select the 'Quick Cooking/Steam' program.
  • Slow Cook/Stew: Add ingredients for your stew or slow-cooked dish to the inner pot. Select the 'Slow Cook/Stew' program. The cooking time will vary based on the recipe.
  • Reheat: Place cooked food into the inner pot, add a small amount of water if necessary to prevent drying, close the lid, and select the 'Reheat' program.

5. Maintenance and Cleaning

Regular cleaning ensures optimal performance and extends the lifespan of your appliance.

  1. Unplug and Cool: Always unplug the rice cooker from the power outlet and allow it to cool completely before cleaning.
  2. Inner Pot: The spherical non-stick inner pot is easily removable and dishwasher safe. For hand washing, use warm, soapy water and a non-abrasive sponge to protect the non-stick coating. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
