Setup
1. Unboxing and Initial Inspection
Upon receiving your Pagani Design watch, carefully remove it from its packaging. Inspect the watch for any visible damage or missing components. The package should include the watch, a user manual, a warranty card, and an original tag.

2. Setting the Time and Date
- Unscrew the Crown: Gently unscrew the crown (the knob on the side of the watch) counter-clockwise until it pops out to position 1.
- Set the Date: Pull the crown out one more click to position 2. Turn the crown clockwise or counter-clockwise to adjust the date. Avoid setting the date between 9 PM and 3 AM, as this can damage the movement.
- Set the Time: Pull the crown out to position 3. Turn the crown to set the hour and minute hands. Ensure the AM/PM is correctly set by observing the date change (it should change around midnight).
- Secure the Crown: Once the time and date are set, push the crown back into position 1 and screw it clockwise firmly against the case to ensure water resistance.
3. Adjusting the Bracelet
The watch features a durable rubber strap with a deployment clasp. If you have a variant with a stainless steel bracelet, it utilizes a screw-pin system for adjustment. A mini flat-head screwdriver is typically included for this purpose. To adjust, carefully unscrew the pins on the side of the links to remove or add links as needed for a comfortable fit. Ensure all screws are tightened securely after adjustment.

Operating the Chronograph
Your Pagani Design Model 1644 is equipped with a quartz chronograph movement (Seiko VK63 Mechaquartz), offering precise timing functions. The chronograph features three subdials: a 60-minute timer, a 24-hour indicator, and a running seconds hand.
- Start/Stop: Press the top pusher (button) to start the chronograph. Press it again to stop the timing.
- Reset: While the chronograph is stopped, press the bottom pusher to reset all chronograph hands to their zero positions.

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Your Watch
To maintain the appearance of your watch, regularly wipe the case and strap with a soft, damp cloth. For stainless steel components, a mild soap solution can be used, followed by thorough rinsing and drying. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive materials.
2. Water Resistance
Your Pagani Design Model 1644 watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters (10 ATM). This means it is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. However, it is not recommended for scuba diving. Always ensure the crown is fully screwed down before exposing the watch to water. Avoid operating the pushers while the watch is wet or submerged.

3. Sapphire Crystal Care
The watch features a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal. While highly durable, it is not entirely impervious to damage. Avoid extreme impacts or contact with materials harder than sapphire to prevent scratches or cracks.
4. Battery Replacement
As a quartz watch, your timepiece is powered by a battery. The battery life typically ranges from 2 to 3 years. When the battery needs replacement, it is recommended to take your watch to a qualified watchmaker to ensure proper sealing and maintain water resistance.
Troubleshooting
- Watch Not Running: Check if the crown is fully pushed in and screwed down. If the watch still does not run, the battery may need replacement.
- Chronograph Hands Not Resetting to Zero: This can sometimes be corrected by performing a chronograph reset procedure. Consult a watchmaker if the issue persists.
- Date Not Changing: Ensure the time is set correctly, especially the AM/PM cycle. If the date is set between 9 PM and 3 AM, it might not change properly. Adjust the time outside this window.
- Water Inside the Watch: If you notice condensation or water inside the watch, immediately take it to a professional watchmaker for inspection and repair to prevent further damage.
