3. Setup
3.1 Connecting the Keyboard
Connect the keyboard's USB-A connector to an available USB port on your computer. The keyboard is a wired device and does not require batteries.
3.2 Compatibility
The iClever G01 keyboard is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10. For MacBook models released after 2017, a USB hub may be required for connection. Compatibility issues may occur when used with Mac mini devices.
4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Key Features
The G01 keyboard features 91 keys with a Japanese layout and linear red switches. Red switches offer a light key press, reducing hand fatigue during extended use, making them suitable for both gaming and programming.

4.2 RGB Backlight Control
The keyboard features RGB backlighting with various lighting effects. You can adjust the backlight settings using the following key combinations:
- Change Backlight Mode: Press Fn + F1, F2, F3, or F4 to cycle through different backlight modes.
- Adjust Backlight Brightness:
- To decrease brightness: Press Fn + ほ (the key to the right of the '0' key).
- To increase brightness: Press Fn + へ (the key to the right of the 'ほ' key).
4.3 Macro Function
The keyboard supports macro functions, allowing you to assign multiple operations to a single key. All keys except the Fn key can be programmed. Up to 10 macros can be created across 3 different sets. Dedicated software is required for macro setup (Windows only). Contact iClever customer support for software download.

4.4 Windows/Mac Mode Switching
The keyboard defaults to Windows mode. To switch between modes:
- Switch to Mac Mode: Press Fn + PrtSc. The PrtSc key will illuminate to indicate Mac mode. In Mac mode, the non-conversion key functions as English input, and the conversion key functions as Kana input.
- Return to Windows Mode: Press Fn + PrtSc again.
5. Maintenance
5.1 Splash-Proof Design
The iClever G01 keyboard features a splash-proof design with three hydrophobic holes on the underside. In case of accidental liquid spills, the design allows for easy drainage, simplifying maintenance.

5.2 Keycap Cleaning
The keycaps are made from durable PBT material with a matte texture. To clean, gently remove keycaps using the included keycap puller and wipe with a soft, damp cloth. Ensure keycaps are completely dry before reattaching.

6. Troubleshooting
6.1 Keyboard Not Responding
If the keyboard stops functioning:
- Try connecting the keyboard to a different USB port on your computer.
- Restart your computer.
- Avoid connecting the keyboard via a USB hub; connect it directly to the computer's USB port.
6.2 USB-C Connection
The keyboard's connector is USB-A. Direct connection to a USB-C port is not possible. If your device only has USB-C ports, a USB-C to USB-A adapter or a USB hub with a USB-A port will be required.
