1. Important Safety Instructions

4. Setup

4.1. Assembly

The lawn mower requires minimal assembly. The handles can be unfolded and secured. The grass collector may also require minor assembly before attachment. Refer to the diagrams in the printed manual for detailed steps.

4.2. Battery Charging

Before first use, fully charge both 24V 4.0Ah Lithium-ion batteries. The included fast charger can charge a battery in approximately one hour.

1. Connect the charger to a suitable power outlet.
2. Insert a battery into the charger. The charger's indicator light will show the charging status.
3. Once fully charged, remove the battery from the charger.

ATTENTION:

• Read the instructions carefully before charging.
• If the battery is too hot or too cold, it will protect itself and will not charge until it reaches an appropriate temperature. Allow the battery time to adapt to ambient temperature for proper function.

4.3. Battery Installation

To install the batteries:

1. Open the battery compartment cover on the top of the mower.
2. Slide the fully charged batteries into their respective slots until they click securely into place.
3. Close the battery compartment cover.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1. Starting the Mower

To start the lawn mower, ensure the batteries are installed and the safety key (if applicable) is inserted. Press and hold the safety button, then pull the bail lever towards the handle. Release the safety button once the motor starts.

5.2. Cutting Height Adjustment

The cutting height can be easily adjusted using the central lever. There are 6 cutting height positions, ranging from 20mm to 70mm.

1. Ensure the mower is turned off and the batteries are removed before adjusting the height.
2. Locate the central height adjustment lever on the side of the mower.
3. Pull the lever outwards and move it to the desired height setting.
4. Release the lever to lock it into position.

5.3. Mowing Techniques

For best results, mow when the grass is dry. Overlap each pass slightly to ensure an even cut. Avoid overloading the mower by cutting excessively long grass in one pass; raise the cutting height if necessary.

5.4. Mulching Function

The mower includes a mulching function, allowing you to return finely cut grass clippings to your lawn as natural fertilizer.

1. Ensure the mower is off and batteries are removed.
2. Remove the grass collector.
3. Insert the mulching plug into the discharge chute until it is securely in place.
4. To revert to collecting, remove the mulching plug and reattach the grass collector.

5.5. Grass Collector

The 32L grass collector efficiently gathers clippings. It features a 'Full Indicator' to alert you when it needs emptying.

1. To attach, hook the collector onto the mower's rear discharge chute.
2. Monitor the 'Full Indicator' during operation.
3. To empty, turn off the mower, remove batteries, and detach the collector. Dispose of clippings responsibly.

6. Maintenance

Regular maintenance ensures optimal performance and extends the life of your lawn mower.

6.1. Cleaning

After each use, ensure the mower is off and batteries are removed. Clean the underside of the deck and the grass collector to prevent buildup of grass clippings. Use a damp cloth; do not use high-pressure water or solvents.

6.2. Blade Care

The mower is equipped with a durable carbon steel blade. Periodically inspect the blade for sharpness and damage. A dull or damaged blade can affect cutting performance. For blade replacement or sharpening, consult a qualified service technician.

6.3. Storage

The LawnMaster CLMF2434G is designed for compact storage. The handles can be folded, and the grass collector is collapsible, allowing the mower to be stored vertically in small spaces.

1. Ensure the mower is clean and dry.
2. Remove the batteries and store them in a cool, dry place.
3. Fold the handles down and collapse the grass collector.
4. Store the mower in a dry, protected area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
