1. Introduction and Overview
The Dracast X Series LED1000 is a versatile RGB and bi-color LED video light designed for professional video production, photography, and streaming. It offers full spectrum RGB color control, adjustable bi-color temperature from 2800K to 8000K, and high color accuracy with CRI and TLCI ratings of 96+. The light can be controlled manually via its advanced digital user interface or remotely using the Dracast DRX App for iOS and Android devices. Its durable aluminum construction, dual NP-F battery plate, and included accessories make it suitable for both studio and on-location use.

2. Key Features
- Full Spectrum RGB Color: Select from millions of colors using HSI (Hue / Saturation / Intensity) and RGB (Red / Green / Blue) color mixer modes. Includes preset color gels for quick selection.
- Bi-Color Adjustable Color Temperature: Adjust CCT from 2800K to 8000K to match ambient lighting. Features 96+ CRI and TLCI for excellent color rendition.
- Remote Control with Dracast DRX App: Control one or multiple lights from over 100 feet using the Dracast DRX App (iOS and Android). Features HSI sliders, RGB color wheel, color gel presets, and special effects (Police Car, Fireworks, Candlelight, Strobe, TV Screen, etc.). Dimming from 0% to 100% is adjustable via the app.
- Durable Build Quality: Constructed with an anodized aluminum metal housing for durability.
- Included Accessories: Comes with a mounting yoke with 5/8" baby pin adapter, pre-installed diffusion filter, four-way barn doors, and a soft carrying case.
- AC / DC Power Options: Can be powered via the included AC / DC power adapter or with dual NP-F style batteries (sold separately) for portable use.
3. Setup
3.1 Unpacking and Inspection
Carefully remove all components from the packaging. Inspect the light and accessories for any signs of damage. Retain the packaging for future storage or transport.
3.2 Mounting the Light
- Attach the included mounting yoke to a light stand using the 5/8" baby pin adapter.
- Securely tighten the mounting knob on the light stand.
- Adjust the tilt of the light using the knobs on the sides of the yoke.
3.3 Powering the Light
The Dracast X Series LED1000 offers two power options:
- AC Power: Connect the included AC/DC power adapter to the DC input port on the light and then to a standard wall outlet.
- DC Battery Power: Insert two compatible NP-F style batteries (sold separately) into the dual NP-F battery plate on the rear of the light. Ensure batteries are fully charged before use.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Manual Control
The light features an advanced digital user interface with a display screen and control knob for direct adjustments. Refer to the on-screen menu for navigating different modes (CCT, HSI, Gel, Effects) and adjusting parameters like brightness, color temperature, hue, saturation, and intensity.
4.2 Dracast DRX App Control
For advanced control and convenience, download the Dracast DRX App from the iOS App Store or Google Play Store. Ensure your light's Bluetooth is enabled and follow the app's instructions to pair your device.

4.2.1 Dimming Control
Adjust the brightness from 0% to 100% using the dimming slider in the app. This can be done for individual lights or groups.
4.2.2 Bi-Color CCT Control
In CCT mode, adjust the color temperature between 2800K and 8000K. This allows for precise matching of ambient light conditions.
4.2.3 Full Spectrum Color Picker (HSI/RGB)
Utilize the color picker or HSI sliders (Hue, Saturation, Intensity) to select from millions of colors. The RGB color mixer also provides granular control over red, green, and blue channels.

4.2.4 Color Gel Presets
The app includes a library of preset color gels for quick and consistent color application.
4.2.5 Special Lighting Effects
Access various built-in lighting effects such as Police Car, Fireworks, Candlelight, Strobe, and TV Screen to add dynamic elements to your productions. These effects are customizable within the app.
4.2.6 Multi-Light Group Control
Assign multiple Dracast X Series lights to groups within the app for synchronized control or individual adjustments within a group.
