- Supervise Children: Children should be supervised at all times when near the air mattress.
- Do Not Overinflate: Overinflation can cause the mattress to burst. Inflate until firm, but not rigid.
- Electrical Safety: The built-in pump operates on AC power. Ensure the power outlet is compatible with the pump's voltage (110-220V AC) and is properly grounded. Do not use the pump near water or in wet conditions. Unplug the pump when not in use.
- Weight Capacity: Do not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 661 pounds (300 kg).

4. Operation (Inflation & Deflation)
The Sealy Tritech air mattress features a convenient built-in AC pump for quick inflation and deflation.
4.1 Inflation
- Plug In: Unwind the power cord from the pump compartment and plug it into a standard 110-220V AC electrical outlet. The pump will illuminate a green LED light, indicating it is powered on.
- Inflate: Turn the pump dial clockwise to the 'Inflate' position. The pump will begin to inflate the mattress.
- Monitor Firmness: Allow the mattress to inflate for approximately 4 minutes, or until it reaches your desired firmness. Do not overinflate.
- Turn Off: Once inflated, turn the pump dial counter-clockwise to the 'Off' position.
- Unplug: Unplug the power cord from the outlet and store it back in the pump compartment. Close the compartment cover securely.
4.2 Deflation
- Plug In: Plug the power cord into a standard 110-220V AC electrical outlet. The green LED light will illuminate.
- Deflate: Turn the pump dial counter-clockwise to the 'Deflate' position. The pump will begin to extract air from the mattress.
- Complete Deflation: Allow the pump to run until all air is removed and the mattress is completely flat. This ensures easy folding and storage.
- Turn Off & Unplug: Turn the pump dial to the 'Off' position, unplug the power cord, and store it.

5. Maintenance
Proper maintenance will extend the life of your air mattress.
- Cleaning: Clean the mattress surface with a damp cloth and mild soap. Do not use harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Ensure the mattress is completely dry before storing.
- Repairing Punctures: In case of a small puncture, use the included repair patch. Clean the damaged area, apply the patch firmly, and allow it to cure for several hours before reinflating.
- Ultra-Fresh Protection: The mattress features an Ultra-Fresh treated sleeping surface to protect against the growth of odor-causing bacteria, mold, and mildew. Regular cleaning as described above will help maintain this protection.

6. Storage
To store your air mattress:
- Deflate Completely: Ensure the mattress is fully deflated using the built-in pump.
- Fold Neatly: Fold the mattress lengthwise, then roll it tightly to remove any remaining air and minimize its size.
- Use Storage Bag: Place the folded mattress into the provided storage bag.
- Store in a Cool, Dry Place: Store the mattress in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
7. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your air mattress, refer to the following common problems and solutions:
| Problem | Possible Cause | Solution |
|---|---|---|
| Mattress loses air quickly | Small puncture or leak; Valve not fully closed; Initial stretching of material (normal for new mattresses) | Check for punctures and use repair patch. Ensure pump dial is in 'Off' position and valve is sealed. Inflate daily for the first few days to allow material to stretch. |
| Pump not working | Not plugged in; Power outage; Pump dial not in correct position | Ensure power cord is securely plugged into a working outlet. Check household circuit breaker. Turn pump dial to 'Inflate' or 'Deflate' position. |
| Mattress is too firm/soft | Over/under-inflated | Adjust inflation level using the built-in pump until desired firmness is achieved. |
