Introduction
Thank you for choosing the Svbony SV202 ED 10x50 Binoculars. These binoculars are engineered for exceptional optical performance, featuring Extra-low Dispersion (ED) glass to minimize chromatic aberration and deliver high-resolution, color-accurate images. The fully multi-coated lens system ensures maximum brightness and contrast, while the 50mm objective lenses provide excellent low-light performance. Equipped with Bak4 roof prisms with phase and dielectric coatings, these binoculars offer sharp, clear, and precise images. The robust magnesium alloy body is waterproof and fog-proof, making them suitable for all weather conditions. Twist-up eyecups and easy diopter adjustment ensure comfortable use for all users, including those wearing glasses.

Setup
1. Attaching the Neck Strap
Thread the neck strap through the strap lugs on each side of the binoculars. Ensure it is securely fastened to prevent accidental drops.

2. Adjusting Interpupillary Distance
Hold the binoculars up to your eyes. Adjust the distance between the two barrels by moving them closer or further apart until you see a single, clear circular field of view. This ensures both eyes are looking through the center of the eyepieces.
3. Adjusting Eyecups
The SV202 features twist-up eyecups. If you do not wear eyeglasses, twist the eyecups counter-clockwise until they are fully extended. If you wear eyeglasses, twist them clockwise until they are fully retracted to achieve the full field of view.
4. Diopter Adjustment
This step compensates for differences in vision between your left and right eyes:
- Close your right eye or cover the right objective lens.
- Look through the left eyepiece with your left eye and rotate the central focus wheel until the image is sharp.
- Close your left eye or cover the left objective lens.
- Look through the right eyepiece with your right eye and rotate the diopter adjustment ring (on the right eyepiece) until the image is sharp. Do not use the central focus wheel for this step.
- Now, both eyepieces are adjusted for your individual vision. For future use, you will only need to use the central focus wheel to adjust for different distances.
Operating Instructions
1. Focusing
After completing the diopter adjustment, simply use the central focus wheel to bring objects at various distances into sharp focus. Turn the wheel slowly for precise adjustments.
2. Observing
Hold the binoculars steady and aim them at your desired subject. Use the central focus wheel to achieve a clear image. For extended observation, consider mounting the binoculars on a tripod using the integrated tripod adapter interface (requires an optional tripod adapter).

Maintenance
1. Cleaning Lenses
Use the included lens cleaning cloth or a soft, lint-free cloth specifically designed for optics. Gently wipe the lens surfaces. For stubborn smudges, use a small amount of optical cleaning fluid applied to the cloth, not directly to the lens.
2. Cleaning Body
Wipe the body of the binoculars with a soft, damp cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive materials that could damage the rubber armor.
3. Storage
When not in use, store the binoculars in their protective carrying case in a cool, dry place. Avoid extreme temperatures and high humidity. Ensure lens caps are in place to protect the optics from dust and scratches.

Troubleshooting
- Blurred Image: Ensure the central focus wheel and diopter adjustment are correctly set for your eyes and the viewing distance. Check for dirt or smudges on the lenses.
- Double Image: Adjust the interpupillary distance by moving the barrels closer or further apart until a single, circular field of view is achieved.
- Difficulty Focusing: Ensure the eyecups are correctly positioned for your use (extended for non-eyeglass wearers, retracted for eyeglass wearers).
- Internal Fogging: While the binoculars are fog-proof, rapid temperature changes can sometimes cause external condensation. Allow the binoculars to acclimate to the ambient temperature. If internal fogging persists, contact customer support.
