3. Setup Instructions
3.1 Barcode Scanner (BCST-60)
- Charge the Scanner: Connect the BCST-60 scanner to a power source using the provided USB charging cable. Ensure it is fully charged before first use.
- Connect the USB Adapter: Insert the 2.4GHz USB adapter into an available USB port on your computer or compatible device.

The BCST-60 is designed for plug-and-play operation. No additional drivers are required. It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and Android (with OTG support).

3.2 Adjustable Stand (BCST-S)
The BCST-S adjustable stand features a tool-free installation process.
- Assemble the Stand: Insert the flexible neck of the stand into the base.
- Secure the Neck: Use the provided wing nut to securely fasten the flexible neck to the base from underneath.
- Place the Scanner: Position your BCST-60 barcode scanner into the holder at the top of the flexible neck. Adjust the neck to your desired angle for optimal scanning.

4. Operating Instructions
4.1 Basic Scanning
- Power On: Ensure the barcode scanner is powered on.
- Aim and Scan: Point the scanner's window at the barcode you wish to read. Press the trigger button. A successful scan is typically indicated by an audible beep and/or a visual confirmation (e.g., LED indicator).
- Data Transmission: The scanned data will be transmitted wirelessly to your connected device via the USB adapter.
The BCST-60 scanner accurately recognizes various 1D barcodes, including those from USPS, FedEx, Code 32, and UPS. It features a 19-inch scanning range and superior motion tolerance for efficient one-pass scanning.

4.2 Wireless Transmission
The BCST-60 scanner offers a wireless transmission range of up to 35 meters (approximately 115 feet), covering an area of 1,000m² (approximately 10,764 sq ft) in open environments. Maintain the scanner within this range for reliable data transmission.

5. Maintenance
To ensure the longevity and optimal performance of your Inateck barcode scanner and stand, follow these maintenance guidelines:
- Cleaning: Use a soft, dry cloth to clean the scanner and stand. For stubborn dirt, a slightly damp cloth can be used, but ensure no moisture enters the device. Avoid abrasive cleaners or solvents.
- Protection: The BCST-60 scanner features a 360° anti-shock design with major components covered in shockproof TPU material, making it robust against drops. However, avoid unnecessary impacts.
- Storage: Store the scanner and stand in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures when not in use.
- Battery Care: For the BCST-60 scanner, avoid fully discharging the battery frequently. Recharge it regularly to maintain battery health.
