4.1 Mounting the Unit

4.2 Wiring Connections

Carefully connect the integrated wiring harness according to the following guidelines. It is recommended to consult a professional for complex installations.

• Power (Red Wire): Connect to a switched 12V DC power source (e.g., ignition or accessory line) that provides power when the vehicle/boat is on.
• Ground (Black Wire): Connect to a solid chassis ground point.
• Remote Turn-On (Blue Wire): Connect to the remote input of your external amplifier(s). This wire provides a 12V signal to turn on connected amplifiers when the BTRC-R is powered on.
• RCA Line Outputs (White/Red): Connect these to the RCA inputs of your amplifier(s). The BTRC-R provides 1 pair (Left & Right) of 2.5V pre-amp outputs.

5. Operating Instructions

5.1 Power On/Off

Press and hold the POWER/PLAY/PAUSE button (center button) to turn the unit on or off.

5.2 Bluetooth Pairing

1. Ensure the BTRC-R is powered on and in Bluetooth mode (indicated by the illuminated BT Pairing button).
2. On your mobile device, enable Bluetooth and search for available devices.
3. Select "DS18 BTRC-R" from the list to pair. Once paired, the BT Pairing button will stop flashing and remain solid.

5.3 Audio Source Selection

Press the SOURCE button (top button) to cycle through available audio sources: Bluetooth, Auxiliary (AUX), and USB.

5.4 Volume Control

Use the VOL+ (right button) and VOL- (left button) buttons to adjust the audio volume.

5.5 Track Control (Bluetooth/USB Mode)

• Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play or pause the current track.
• Press the NEXT TRACK button (bottom right) to skip to the next track.
• Press the PREVIOUS TRACK button (bottom left) to go to the beginning of the current track or the previous track.
