4. Setup Instructions

4.1. Connecting the Antenna

  1. Connect your digital antenna to the ANT IN port on the rear of the iView 3300STB.

4.2. Connecting to Your Television

Choose one of the following connection methods based on your TV's available inputs:

HDMI Connection (Recommended for HD)

  1. Connect an HDMI cable (not included) from the HDMI OUT port on the converter box to an HDMI input on your TV.
  2. Select the corresponding HDMI input on your TV using its remote control.

RCA (AV) Connection (for Analog TVs)

  1. Connect the yellow RCA cable from the VIDEO port on the converter box to the yellow video input on your TV.
  2. Connect the white RCA cable from the L audio port on the converter box to the white audio input on your TV.
  3. Connect the red RCA cable from the R audio port on the converter box to the red audio input on your TV.

4.3. Initial Power-On and Channel Scan

  1. Plug the power adapter into the converter box and then into a wall outlet.

5.1. Basic TV Viewing

  2. To record instantly, press the REC button on the remote while watching a program. Press REC again to stop recording.
  3. To schedule a recording, use the EPG to select a program and follow the on-screen prompts to set a timer. Alternatively, access the "PVR" or "Timer" menu via the MENU button.
  4. Recorded programs can be accessed and played back through the "PVR" or "Media Player" menu.
