6. Troubleshooting
If you encounter issues with your Waterpik Sonic-Fusion 2.0 Professional, refer to the table below for common problems and solutions.
| Issue | Possible Cause / Solution |
|---|---|
| Unit does not turn on or respond. | Ensure the unit is properly plugged into a working electrical outlet. Verify the toothbrush handle is correctly seated in the charging base. If the battery is completely drained, it may take a few minutes for the indicator lights to appear after plugging in. |
| Water flosser not working or weak pressure. | Check if the reservoir is filled with water. Ensure the pressure control dial is set to a desired level (not 0). The flosser may need to be reconnected to the toothbrush's signals; try draining the toothbrush's battery completely by setting it idle for a week or so, then place the toothbrush in the base before reconnecting the set to power. |
| Excessive splashing during flossing. | Lean over the sink and keep your lips partially closed around the brush head to contain the water stream. Start with a lower pressure setting and gradually increase as you become comfortable. |
| Brush head not staying in place. | Ensure the brush head is pushed firmly onto the metal shaft until it clicks securely into place. If the issue persists, the brush head may be worn and require replacement. |
| Unusual noise or vibration. | Check for any obstructions in the brush head or water flosser nozzle. Ensure the reservoir is properly seated. If the noise continues, contact customer support. |
